That sign "The Covered End" it's new right ?
What a nice nod to our history and Charlton folklore that is from RD. An unnecessary expense but proof enough that our owner is not about scrimping every penny and that the management team take on board what fans and popular culture have to say.
The Valley has a wonderful new pitch, new seats and has had a much needed spruce up. Well done Mr. Duchatelet for this.

I think RD has done a great job with the ground, let's face it slater and jizzamess let it go a bit. It started to look like it was falling apart, RD has an eye for detail and I respect anyone that comes into our club and spends money updating it. Thanks RD.
Would rather have him in our corner protecting the ground than slater and jizzer who would of soon sold it off to let someone build a tescos on...
The valley looks good.. I bet the ground staff are well pleased he invested so heavily in that pitch. Makes there job easier!!

I feel for Paddy though. He should have been given at least one more season looking after a perfect pitch after the years of mud rolling he had to endure.3
