If Rotherham don't go up then Ben Pringle. Having a great game despite them being 1-0 down.

And as I type he whips in a great dead ball to get an assist. 1-1. I've got an eye for a player me ;-)

Was watching last night thinking exactly the same thing, he had an excellent game, certainly worth a look if Rotherham stay down if that's how he plays consistently.
  • No chance. If he goes it will be to another Yorkshire/northern team, like Sheff W, Sheff U, Leeds etc.

About the whole of the Blackpool first team squad look like they are being given a free transfer (although interestingly they want to try and resign Fuller). Don't know many of the names - anyone worth pursuing? (Note Nathan Ecclestone who we had on loan a few years ago is being let go. Amazing how someone who appeared to have such a great future ahead of him could be on the scrap heap so soon after).

Interestingly, also says here is our retained list "lodged with the Football League before Saturday's deadline". Presumably that must mean Charlton must now have decided who is being let go.
  • Come on Roland pony up

Marc Albrighton and Nathan Delfouneso released by Aston Villa
  • Wash your mouth out. Millwall scum and ex- Millwall scum :-)

We've signed ex-Millwall before, no reason we can't again as long as they've repented their former sins. Better ex-Millwall than King or Evans.

Always judge a player on how good he is by the team that he joins after leaving Charlton. Reckon Pritchard will end up at somewhere like Wycombe. I will stand corrected.

I don't think anyone would deny Pritchard didn't play well this season, but the other posters' comments were about the two previous seasons
  • I'd love Steven Reid now he's been released by West Brom. Decent, experienced player, intelligent bloke able to get his point across making him good for instructing younger players and capable of playing right back or midfield. He'd fill the gap left by Andy Hughes but with the added bonus of being a better player. I could see him going to a bigger side though, or at least one with more money to spend.

  • But he's ex Millwall so wouldn't be welcomed by some on here.
  • former Wigan defender Markus Holgersson is attracting interest from Championship trio Charlton Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City. The Swedish defender is a free agent after signing on a short-term deal for the Latics in February.
  • Patrick bamford 100%

Looks like he's not going back to Chelsea in January but staying at Boro for the season. Shame because he would be so good for us.

Although from Lincolnshire I'm sure he'd prefer the sights of South London to what has been described in some surveys as the worst place to live in England ;-)

  • Marco Streller looked good for Basel tonight I thought.
