Surely whoever we sign this summer has got to be better quality than what we signed last Summer, saying that I was far from impressed with what we brought in , in January, so I'm yet to be convinced what our strategy is?
It's a risky one, not one name mentioned on this thread will be anywhere near our plans

Allegedly we will enquire about Odubajo if they don't go up
One of the lads i work with is best mates with Odubajo and we were only talking about him last week. If there is any truth in this rumour then i will be able to confirm or deny when/if we do make a bid
He wouldn't get out of bed for less than £10k a week would he? Can't really see Rolly doing his dough on these type of players unless short term loan like Eagles would have been.
Assombolonga was signed for an undisclosed fee on a 4 year deal from Watford last summer which The Peterborough Chairman McAnthony described at the time as smashing the clubs previous transfer fee of £1.1m. This was funded out of the Dwight Gale proceeds from his £8.5m move to the Nigel's. Again he won't come cheap.
Anyone seen much of Stevie May (St Johnstone)? 21 y/o good scoring record over the last 2 seasons (albeit not in challenging leagues). Seems like the sort of play RD might think is worth a punt?

That Dwight Gayle purchase still looks expensive but not as bad as it did 2 weeks ago :-(
