Who do we want to sign for next season?

  • Surely whoever we sign this summer has got to be better quality than what we signed last Summer, saying that I was far from impressed with what we brought in , in January, so I'm yet to be convinced what our strategy is?

It's a risky one, not one name mentioned on this thread will be anywhere near our plans

    I.e. no one.
  • Would like Gradel and Mancienne but both very unlikely.
  • Shane Lowry and Zak Whitbread released by Millwall and Leicester, could be worth a look.
  • Wash your mouth out. Millwall scum and ex- Millwall scum :-)
  • Garner from Preston?

Isnt it time for "son of rumours rumours"?

As I don't have anything better to do with my sad, meaningless life for the next 3 months.
  • Garner from Preston?

He's never really done it above league 1, better than Church no doubt but reckon we can do better.

Didn't he get a couple against us in The Championship for Forest in our relegation season?
  • Liam Feeney released by Millwall.

  • Allegedly we will enquire about Odubajo if they don't go up
  • Dean Cox?
  • A few seconds before that i was going to write Bobby Olejnik as back-up goalie.
  • Cox from oreint if they dont go up. I am sure he wouldn't might slipping across the drink for a pay rise and a years supply of Belgian chocolates.

Shuan Batt is poor he should of just scored that
  • Odubajo would be good but would cost. Very highly rated

Cox is a league one player but Odubajo would be a top signing.
  • Moses from orient if they don't go up

One of the lads i work with is best mates with Odubajo and we were only talking about him last week. If there is any truth in this rumour then i will be able to confirm or deny when/if we do make a bid ;)
  • What about Joe Cole released from West Ham
  • What about Joe Cole released from West Ham

He wouldn't get out of bed for less than £10k a week would he? Can't really see Rolly doing his dough on these type of players unless short term loan like Eagles would have been.
  • Matt Etherington released by Stoke?

If Harry is about in the Championship next year he will sign him.

  • Odubajo - left or right wing?

Odubajo - left or right wing?

Mainly right from last night's game but looked ok on the left as well when he popped up there. Spurs were reported to be interested at £1m in the last transfer window. He won't come cheap.

  • Asombalonga now Peterborough aren't coming up. But I expect lots of youth and many we haven't heard of from the network.
  • What about Joe Cole released from West Ham

Heading back to Lille I think.

Assombolonga was signed for an undisclosed fee on a 4 year deal from Watford last summer which The Peterborough Chairman McAnthony described at the time as smashing the clubs previous transfer fee of £1.1m. This was funded out of the Dwight Gale proceeds from his £8.5m move to the Nigel's. Again he won't come cheap.
  • Anyone seen much of Stevie May (St Johnstone)? 21 y/o good scoring record over the last 2 seasons (albeit not in challenging leagues). Seems like the sort of play RD might think is worth a punt?
  • Assombalonga will not be coming in unfortunately. Too expensive.

That Dwight Gayle purchase still looks expensive but not as bad as it did 2 weeks ago :-(
  • Peterborough are probably the worst club to try and do Business with (in a good way when you think about it) as they always demand hefty transfer fees
