  • my worry is how tired the players looked against Bolton second half
  • Agreed doronron. We really could do without a game today

Yep me too. Thats why i think Pritchard could do a job for us in rest of season , just to give us a bit of effervescence (quoting Curbs)

  • At least we have a manager. Imagine CP being sacked and being replaced for the rest of the season by Johnny Jackson or Leon Cort!

    League Table

    GD. PTS
    18. Charlton. -23 45. Blackburn (H) Watford (H) Blackpool (A)
    19. Donny. -28 44 Reading (H) Leicester (A)
    20. Millwall. -29 44 QPR ( A) Bournmouth (H)
    21. Birmingham -13 43 Leeds (H) Wigan (H) Bolton (A)
    22. Blackpool -27 43 Wigan (A) Charlton (H)
    23. Barnsley -30 39 Bora (A) QPR (H)
    24. Yeovil -26. 37 Brighton (A) Boro (H)

If we throw this position away then we will deserve to get relegated. Glad to see Millwall will be back being very nervous.

I can't see Millwall getting anything against QPR and Yann will send them down in the final game! We might need to give Blackpool a point but I'm sure we can oblige.
  • Donny have it very tough

Harry will play to beat Millwall

Brum I think will get out of it but they do have Lee |Clark as boss

But as SHG says if we blow it from here it will be unforgivable
  • Wigan did look poor today, so both Blackpool and Birmingham have a chance there.
  • Unfortunately I can see Millwall surviving cant see them beating QPR but nor will Birmingham get anything from Leeds or Blackpool from wigan
  • Worse comes to worse in the next two games, a win at Blackpool will keep us up.

Let's hope 'Arry Redknapp has his West Ham hat on and drives QPR on to stuff Millwall!
  • 2 points will be enough to stay up now.
  • Looking at Donny's remaining two fixtures it's quite possible that we already have enough points. Yeovil have gone and Barnsley need a miracle.

What would be interesting is if we are safe by the Blackpool game and it is between them and Millwall - will we do Millwall a favour? I agree - Donny will have a job getting more than one more point, Millwall will lose to QPR and I wouldn't want to need a win against Bournemouth - Blackpool won't get any more points before they play us, so a couple of points will make it a nothing game for us.

I think there is a good chance that one of Brum, Millwall, Donny or Blackpool will only get one more point from their remaining games. This was a big big win today.

Very hard to predict, Reading are pretty inconsistent and nothing special really
  • Millwall are on a good run think it's now six unbeaten. Best form of the bottom seven, I'd take that form. Blackpool, Donny and Brum. must be really worried.
  • We need 4 more points for me, don't worry about the others unless we have to

True about Millwall but there are now only two games left. Away to QPR which even in good form I would expect them to lose and then a nervy last game at home to a more than handy Bournemouth. They are not out of the woods just yet.

Form goes out the window at this point of the season. They got booed off apparently today at half time and full time- that won't help them. Some fans are idiots!!!
  • Yeovil and Barnsley can't catch us and I reckon either Millwall or Donny will fail to get another point. Let's hope it is Millwall and with us already safe we let Blackpool nick a point or three in the last game of the season!

Agree, TBH, i cant see Millwall or Donny getting many more points (maybe 1 ). If it came down to us being 4 ahead of Blackpool by end of season, then i would have no problem in wearing Tangerine and cheering on Blackpool to send Millwall down. Whoop whoop.

  • If we were 4 points plus ahead of Blackpool, I'd play the youth team. The only problem is, they are pretty decent! Maybe CL could put a team together, bagsy I go in goal!

    I'd go up front - 18 stone , but still got it-no probs !

Millwall can't seem to win at home. Thought they'd win today especially when I saw that Doncaster had gone down to ten men well before half-time. They could well regret failing to do so.

Let's not forget though that if we can win at Sheffield Wednesday having been 2-0 down anything can happen!! Saturday could be as nervy as today was.

If Barnsley win both of there games and we lose all three I think they will go above us on goal difference. Big if I know but this is Charlton.

I think this win and the fact we have a free game on the Tuesday after, will take a lot of pressure off for Saturday. That I think is a massive factor in our favour. Had Millwall won today, they would have probably been ok - where as the pressure lightens for us, it now itensifies for them.

Why have William Hil got odds on Derby getting relegated?

I think we are actually -23 45. The other goal differences are correct.

A 'massive' win without a doubt but still a bit to do. We have a game in hand on all except Birmingham who I more or less discount because of their vastly superior goal difference.

Three games left for us and Brum two for the rest. It's in our hands and I think three more points or one more win should be enough for us.

Let's hope we do it on Saturday against Blackburn.
  • I think Millwall will get a point tops, Donny need to beat Reading - but most likely will also get a point, I think Brum have to beat Leeds - If they don't they will get a point tops, Blackpool will not get any points until they play us, Barnsley will not get 6 points. So all in all a great day, considering that we were frimly in the bottom 3 after 8 minutes!
