Tweet date April 12 2012... 2 years ago...the boy would have been an excited 16 yr old as likely playing up for the U18's development squad and misguidedly got caught up in the excitement of it... just shows how we all under estimate this new era of communication...social apps texting tweeting instead of verbal communication, it's all out there for everyone to find and read...now if he'd said that on the team bus instead of tweeting it!!! But I guess 2 years ago the Charlton fans who read it at the time, chuckled and thought well done Diego and now they want to see him suffer instead of progress....fickle game this football !!!
You should know better than to bring common sense into a football discussion.

Let's lynch the long haired Uruguayan fucker!!!!
Colthe3rd...you are of course absolutely correct in your observation, I can only say it was a 'moment of madness' brought on by the unusual summer weather...heat!!
Of course I humbly apologise to this forum it's followers and administrators for making such an out of place level headed comment and assure you in the future I will be diligent to make all my posts as biased and ludicrously unreasonable as possible
I think we should forget about this insignificant greedy little shit and focus on those who want to put a red shirt on. Adios and enjoy the hammers reserves.

He'll play prem games for them this season, while wistfully lamenting the fact that he's not playing Rochdale alongside the talents of Michael Morrison and Loic Negó.

I don't think Nego or Morrison will be playing Rochdale this season either...

I don't get it? Are you implying someone that's played solidly for 3 seasons isn't very good or that Nego will play just as many games as Morro. Bit of a weird thing to say

Possibly he'll play but there's also a good chance he wont. One of the things West Ham fans hate about Allardyce is that he won't give youngsters a chance in PL games even when there's injuries. He would rather play an old, slow player like Matt Taylor totally out of position over picking a youngster. I don't care what happens to him anymore but there's also part of me that thinks it would be a shame if his talent is wasted.
Saw West Ham come to NZ to play an average Sydney side and the Wellington Phoenix and he was anonymous as they got well beaten in both matches. Rob Elliot on the other hand played well for Newcastle in the tournament - only tested against Wellington to be fair. He made a blinding diving save to turn one around the post.
a bad start and fat sam is gone. Bet diego's going to love being 5th choice central midfielder to a new manager that possibly wont rate him or will want to get his own midfielders in.

I'm just saying that it can't be denied that Poyet was head and shoulders above nearly everyone else in the team, in terms of natural talent. He wouldn't relish playing alongside limited players for another season when there was a chance of playing alongside better, and in the prem.

LOL, Could see him doing a Joe Hart if he still had his hair...
However his effort was above that of others... not his skill.

I think the unnecessary hatred is clouding people's judgement a bit. He was fecking class
