Mooney, Francis, Pouso, Pawel Abbott, Akpo Sodje, Izale Mc, Traore, that bald bloke from Wolves the other year....we've had some real shit at The Valley
There's a consistent flow of competition for this accolade where Charlton are concerned. We have an uncanny knack of uncovering new candidates on a very frequent basis so it needs to be constantly reviewed.
El Khalej, Pouso, Robbie Mustoe, Traore, Faye - admittedly all in the top division. If I have to choose one, it's got to be Alonso. That penalty he gave away was truly shocking!

Hard to disagree... i.e. the other names mentioned all proved they couldnt handle it in the Premier League but may have done a better job for us in League One - Alonso on the other hand played seven times for Bolton in the Premier League yet then proved that day against Brentford he couldnt even hack League One level
Viggo Jacobsen. Truly hopeless. He had a 3 year contract, but never got a game in years 2 and 3' so just hung around in the reserves.
In his last year, Alan Mullery had a supporters' Q&A evening, and to everyone's astonishment, someone asked why he couldn't get a game, and wasn't he somewhat overlooked. Mullery just about kept a straight face, but didn't mince his words, and said something along the lines of "he's not capable of being a professional footballer"
He was our Ali Dia, totally out of his depth. And we're not talking about the premiership here....
Worst ever performance: Miguel Llera, Col U away about three seasons ago
Don't think I saw that game, but surely can't be a worse performance than Francis had in the cup (think it was the last time he played for us) before powell put him out of his misery........
Comments
Anyway: Mike Small.
Right now: Hasselbaink, McCormack, Pouso (does he count?), Mikel Alonso.
Worst ever player: Amdy Faye
