Ben Haim would effectively replace Cort who sadly seems to be permanently injured,I would welcome him as our 4th centre back.
In terms of Thuram,he could make his début against Oxford next week if he arrives. It seems to be the trend now for second string goalies to be used in Cup competetions. In my view particularly after his performance against Ipswich and the penalty save I think Ben Alnwick should be seen as our number one and keep the position.
In terms of Hamer,I do not see both Alnwick and him being prepared at their age and stage of development to share the gloves for another season particularly if Thuram comes in.Therefore we should try to offload him and claim a fee although I think Reading may have a resale clause.
A Standard Liege supporter who told me about Thuram before we had heard about him, and also told me the Ozturk deal was off before It was posted on here. He may be wrong be we'll see.
Has anyone read the latest "Inside the Valley" on the OS? I think they've given the game away!
"There will also be an exclusive word from French goalkeeper Ben Alnwick, who discusses the Christmas schedule and the upcoming clash with his former club Barnsley."

There were a few comments on the summer transfer thread about welcoming Jay Bothroyd back. Not sure, even with our new owner, we could compete with this...
Alan Judge now confirmed as loaned to Brentford. Previously one of our main targets and he now turns up on loan to a league 1 club in London. Bitterly disappointing.

Perhaps, but also could be seen that he is a top League 1 player at best. Having said that, I wouldn't have minded him.

Two conflicting tweets on Stewart. Basically, nobody knows what's going on:
