  • The Transfer tracker on SkySports has announced that Alan Judge is set to complete a loan move to Brentford

shocking we havent made a move

This deal was already in motion weeks ago when we hadn't been taken over and therefore had no money to sign him up.
  • Championship Middlesbrough have signed Nigeria centre-back Kenneth Omeruo on loan from Chelsea until the end of May.
The 20-year-old started all the Super Eagles' matches as they won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, but has played just twice since injuring his shoulder at the 2013 Confederations Cup.
After signing for the Blues from Standard Liege in January 2012, Omeruo was immediately sent on loan to Den Haag.
  • loads of speculation right now and only 2 or 3 will sign.

loads of speculation right now and only 2 or 3 will sign.

As long as at least one is a striker who can actually score goals !

  • As it stands we go into the Barnsley game with a weaker squad. No Stewart and Sordell is injured. Smith is back but untried at this level as is the Swedish bloke

He might be a goal machine, but his scissor skills could use some refinement.

Also... "The Penos", I'm definitely referring to them as this from now on!

@d_demyttenaere: GK #Thuram will be in London in the beginning of the next week to finalise his loan to #CAFC @CAFCofficial @ladh @MercatoDH
  • Why do we need another goalkeeper? We have got two goalkeepers in Hamer and Alnwick who are good enough. The only thing I can see is that Hamer or Alnwick are going to be sold.

Admittedly this is an odd loan. I am sure Thuram if he is coming does not want to be sitting on the bench. Of the other two I guess Hamer is the more saleable asset, so if he does get sold in the window then does Alnwick become no.2 again? What message does that send out?

  • I want a.strike force made up of a bit of biton and a bit of Breton

Better have a word with Baton then.

the message it sends out is that we have aquired a better keeper for a while. We wouldn't be bothered as to what message it sends Harriott if we sign Stewart or what message it sends Church when we sign a better striker. It happens.

  • Although I agree with @dickplumb I do think this shows there is some intent there, "Oh so you have two good keepers? Have a better one."

If he can give us a bit more punch up front then I am happy.
  • Apparently hamer has not fully recovered and was put on bench at ipswich as emergency but not sure how true it is so if thats the case makes sense to have another keeper at least for a few weeks. After that we'll have to wait and see whats happened
  • Did Judge go to Brentford in the end does anyone know? Havent seen it confirmed anywhere?

    As Jim Bowen would say...

"you can't beat a biton Breton"

    If he is better.
