Summary

Another frustrating evening, with the inability to hit the net having a painful impact on the Addicks. Charlton were furious to concede early in the game to on-loan Billy Sharp, minutes after having what appeared to be a trip on Simon Church in the box waved away.

The Addicks tried to battle their way back into the game, and were boosted by the 2nd half impact of subs Danny Green and Marvin Sordell. But ultimately it wasn't enough, the lack of goals resulting in another defeat. Charlton lay 4th from bottom and have scored just 14 goals in 18 games, having failed to net in 3 out of their last 4 games.
