I watch the MLS week in, week out - the trend is much more towards authenticity & much less of the crazy old NASL days. Teams have been ditching the crazy names and going with European influenced simplicity - Toronto FC, Sporting Kansas City (formerly Wizards), FC Dallas (formerly Burn), Orlando City - many teams are building soccer specific stadiums. It's a fine league with some great players!! None of this is relevant to us I guess - just the soccer loving Yanks arent all that different to us these days....

Interesting news and potentially good news. Not because this lot are guaranteed to be any good but it would seem the existing lot do not have the desire to keep things funded any longer so almost at a point where any change is better!
