No real response to ACV artist impressions and a cafc offical brochure on why buying cafc makes sense which mentions a move and redevlopement and still people don't see the link
My view is my view I don't want or expect anyone to follow my view on what I would wish to do
Its what the trust helped get raised for the valley so that it would mean football is the only function there
I think I may have simplified it but that's how I took it to mean
It means that if the owners want to sell the Valley (without the football club) then they have to give 6 months notice on the deal and enable others to try to raise the cash to buy the Valley... it doesn't stop football clubs moving but it does make the sale public before it happens.
Some have pointed out the flaws in the process but the interesting thing with Charlton and RBG is that the application was supposed to be accepted in September, 8 weeks after the application was submitted... but the council are still discussing how to handle the application - a novel approach given that they have granted ACV elsewhere for other assets and that there are several football grounds around the country which have been awarded that status: castrust.org/valleyacv/
I am sure there is nothing to read into the delay in the ACV and the story now coming out about a takeover. How awful would it have been, if this could all have been scuppered by the Royal Borough of Greenwich doing their job properly and granting the ACV within the legally agreed timescale. Heaven forbid that Councillor Roberts residence in the boardroom has led to any insider knowledge that may have influenced the tardiness of the Council.
Jesus all up late.... delete this Af, but I (ST at least) am not moving from The Valley end of.
Even, if/when ownership changes is this even part of the plan?
Please, please, please, do not cut off your nose to spite your face, take a deep breath, and think about where we are now and where we need to be at the end of the season. ONE STEP AT A TIME !

What I missed ?
Then a few minutes later admits he did use the word but editted it.
Not even a very good troll.
OK, off to the pub to celebrate the takeover.

Some classless comments from some on here tonight
If the £35m in the sales brochure in the summer was for the club free and clear of debt then the £18m is only an 18% discount rather than 50%
Maybe i used "retard" a bit to liberally, but it proves my point people are getting their nickers in a twist over nothing much at all.

Of course it won't be granted before this deal goes through
If this deal falls through RBG will have to grant it and then we may be able to do something
One thing that is certain is that if the deal goes through a move will be announced PDQ and then no need to allocate ACV
A move may be the best thing in the world for cafc
But in all honesty we won't ever win the prem nor reach the champions league
And the valley can support prem football and even europa league no prob
There is no need to leave
But if there is enough support for it in % terms then it is right for us to move unfortunately
And those that are in the minority myself included make decisons based on our morals
Has anyone got a copy of it?
Will you take the Palace job if offered?
:-)
