Only one of those is, I think, hard to call, Wilson v Jones because Jones has it in him to be a top ten player. All the others should be straightforward.

In, most welcome
looks like so far only Ronnie has been selected by everyone this next round, even his no1 fan @paulie8290

Full list of players into round 2
Ronnie O'Sullivan (2) Ding Junhui (3) Judd Trump (4) John Higgins (5) Barry Hawkins (6) Mark Williams (7) Kyren Wilson (9) Anthony McGill (14) Ali Carter (15) Mark Allen (16) Joe Perry (22) Ricky Walden (27) Jack Lisowski (30) Rob Milkins (37) Jamie Jones (51) Lyu Haotian (68)
Ronnie's safety all over the place in the sixth frame. Didn't see the first five but it's not looking good.
at 3-3 , wouldn't matter too much even IF he lost last 2 frames of the session imo , this early session is more important for Ali to keep with ROS. Tonights will be the one which will be key and i imagine Ronnie will go into it knowing this and win the majority of the frames, if playing 8 can see him winning 6.
On a side note, i have been looking at snooker.org for live updates/scores. I normally do but some of the people on there today proper insulting Carter constantly because obviously Ronnie isn't smashing him, disgusting behaviour especially considering what Ali has gone through.
Just done the programme and large screen in Tudor Square outside the Crucible. Ronnie will smash it this year.
Gotta say i disagree.
Said it before and will say it again He wont win the worlds again.
5 matches over more than 1 session in a row he doesnt have to mental ability to cope.
Shorter events are so much better for him.
Ronnie's playing mind games I reckon.
My shilling is on him for the World's this year.
For me the proof is in the pudding.
Yes I dont like Ronnie Yes I Think he is an arrogant twat Yes to me Hendry is the GOAT
But honestly look at the facts He has not won a worlds since 2013 No final since 2014 2015-quarter final exit 13-9 to Stuart Bingham 2016-2nd round exit 13-12 to Barry Hawkins 2017-quarter final exit 13-10 to Ding Junhui 2018-2nd round exit 13-9 to Ali Carter
Not got past the quarters in 3 years yet still the bookies favourite
4 years with no semi final now,
As I have said time and time again he wont win another world title

@Sir_Clive you stated Day, obviously he lost so default would be Mcgill unless you state otherwise prior to the match starting.
@stackitsteve you have said Ding to lose regardless so you have Mcgill to win.
