Is it me or is it a bit of an anticlimax, following the line up from the quarters it seems possibly one of the worst line ups. No disrespect as they are all class left still, just Trump/ Robbo going out, Selby hot fave now. Murphy looking good, Wilson we know can win, Bingham the outsider but he's been there.
Its still interesting and i will keep following just felt like the semi line up could have been a bit more exciting on paper, fingers crossed we still have a couple of close fought games.
Half rooting for Selby (even though i should have bet early on like i said) the other half Wilson for betting reasons. Murphy the least i want to win, just really dont like him, its not often i root for Trump but i was last night.0 -

I have to admit, i never used to be a fan of Selby, but i do feel he gets alot of stick. He is a purist and he can score as well as the best of them, maybe even more clinical than most. I'd like it to be, and think it will be, Wilson v Selby in the final. I don't think you can argue that's not a decent/worthy pairing for the final.
After that I hope Wilson gets the win he deserves after his efforts last year alone tbh.1 -
I really like Murphy and would like him to win. Selby has to be the favourite.1

Selby went 3-1 up first mini session, Bingham wins 3-1 next to finish 4-4, Selby knicked the last and looked unusually out of sorts. It could easily have been 6-2 to Ballrun here so this will feel like a win when hes top break was 40ish, Bingham looked very good but in typical fashion still comes out tieing the session.1

Wilson was incredible in that session but nearly threw the last one away. I think he would give Selby a better game, as Murphy's safety isn't quite up to the test. Selby isn't guaranteed to beat Bingham though, and Bingham was the better player today but couldn't get a lead.

This mornings first mini session has been a hard watch. Both players out of sorts and nervy still, Bingham looking the better player but also getting the run. They share the mini session so go in 6-6, if any of them clicks in to get the other one is in trouble.1

Both picked up, now Selby is 9-7, play resumes tonight at 8. Selby hit two centuries, Bingham replying with his own, the last one was a tight frame but Selby wins on the colours, shame its now stopped after both players finding a bit of form.1

Kyren went 10-4 up making the last couple of frames key, Murphy won them so its not formality. Going into the last session 10-6 Wilson leads Murphy, the match is not dead like it could have been. Halfway and will conclude tomorrow evening, they have a morning session first.1

Bingham with a great break to make it 9 all. unfortunate not to go on above a century. was aiming for a 147.

Last night's final frame resembled one of those late night ones down the snooker hall when you are determined to beat your opponent no matter what. Bingham must have been thinking "wtf ?......just give up mate & we can all go home to bed".4

Doesn't happen very often I know but Wilson gave away 53(?) points on a snooker yesterday tbf so it's maybe not as daft as it first seems.cafcsinger said:
