I live nr maidenhead but your obsession with ebbsfleet is quite creepy considering your supposed to be a dartford fan. Maidenhead deserve to go up and its a lottery who goes up too. Hopefully it will be whoever finishes second. Does that suit you. I hate palace and Millwall but font go on about them, i ignore them.

Give yourself a pat on the back - well done - no cut and paste in that post - I'm warming to you - bit odd that you are so dermined to champion / defend Webbed Feet though - please explain ?
BTW Charlton fans go on A LOT about how they hate Nigel's and Spanners - does that make the majority 'creepy' as well ? (Check out the thread when Millwall last got relegated and the Brighton thread today about hating Palace)
Perhaps you are good mates with Maidenhead's 'celebrity' fan - that would explain a lot - he wasn't funny either !!!
Thing is, despite the rivalry, there seems to be a grudging respect between that lot from Princes Park and us lot at Stonebridge Road. I would add that all the jealousy aimed at Ebbsfleet is pretty much water off a ducks back when you consider they Came within a whisker of folding after the MyFC debacle.
The only team, as far as I can see, in National League South that everyone despises is Whitehawk. Christ what a dump that place is with the most undulating pitch you will ever see.

No idea how Whitehawk ever pass ground grading every year. Horrible place to go.

And the Whitehawk 'Ultras' - what a bunch of knobs they are
There are some shocking pitches I agree - alongside Whitehawk add to the list Concord, Bishop Stortford, Oxford City and Hungerford
surely they could find a local neutral bigger ground, if Dartford met Ebbsfleet they'd be mad not to use the Valley
If I was Ebbsfleet (and it's likely that they will be the highest placed team in the final) I wouldn't want to give up home advantage
Also the crowd would look tiny in a ground the size of the Valley - wouldn't be as good an atmosphere as you would get in say Stonebridge Road or Princes Park
This. Ebbsfleet would argue that their reward for second place (assuming they don't pip Maidenhead) is home advantage. You can't muck around with the rules at this stage. I remember a few Wings fans moaning when they were forced to come to PP for the play off final vs Dartford.

Forgive my ignorance: who is this?
Timmy Mallett - even features on their website - was in the bar before the game at Princes Park last season - even more annoying in real life than on the telly (if that's possible)
For those saying any potential play off final should be at a neutral venue, well the National League planned to do this; holding both the North and South Finals on the same day.
The venue they chose..............Milton Keynes - after the uproar from many clubs, including some affected by the Franchise move and FC United of Manchester they defaulted back to the time honoured system.
There is every chance it wont be a Fleet Dirtford final. Maidenhead could cock it up (unlikely i'll grant you, but we live in hope) - If positions stay the same Chelmsford might beat the Princes park lot and Fleet (Maidenhead) wont know who they are playing until Poole and Darlington have had decisions on their appeals as they are excluded due to ground regs (they have less than 500 seats under cover).
So Fleet (or Maidenhead) could play Hampton who are currently 7th as Hungerford (6th) are also excluded as they don't have enough seats under cover.
And we all complain about the incompetence of the Football league! The National League is way up there.
So the way to work it out is whichever team left out of the 4 teams in the palyoffs was highest at the end of the season has home advantage, but it wont be a home match.
Gawd knows what was going on at Park View Road today (Erith & Belvedere playing) as they needed two Ambulances for injured players within a short period of time.
Croydon's 6th goal scored in the 31st minute of injury time...
From the report online-
"As the game reached the quarter hour mark Deres' striker Matt Parsons who was flagged for being offside clattered into Trams keeper Francis Ameyaw leaving the custodian with suspected broken ribs. Ameyaw played on after receiving treatment on the pitch but was unable to stop Deres' captain Aaron Fray's opening goal in the seventeenth minute. Soon afterwards Ameyaw left the pitch and an ambulance was called to treat his injury. Ameyaw was replaced between the posts by full back Ibrahim Bah. ...
Deres' Elyon Marshall-Katung suffered a shoulder injury which resulted in first a rapid response vehicle then an ambulance arriving to treat him, causing a half hour delay in play."

Any pearls of wisdom you can regale us with ?
Views on the National South promotion race ?
How about Option C - I'm guessing you are from Gravesend or near there - hot topic at the moment......
However when we played Sutton in the FA Cup this season Nicky Bailey was class - ran the show - should still be in the league IMO

But this is good fun
BTW you haven't explained the Ebbsfleet (there I've said it - slap on the hand for me !!) obsession - come on I WANNA KNOW !!!
You see Chippy - it's only banter - lighten up a bit, you never know, you might enjoy it

Might work in Priestfield Stadium though

And with that I'm off to have a rest.
