Another loss for Billericay - the attempt to buy their way into the play-offs has failed.
Should win the league comfortably next season though.
I see Ebbsfleet have fucked automatic promotion again. Maidenhead can even afford to lose to them next weekend if they win their 2 away games.
Wouldn't say they've "fucked" automatic. They've been getting the results but Maidenhead are a very good side. Fleet win there next week then Maidenhead will need to go to Truro and get a result last day of the season maybe.
Whereas last year Fleet screwed it up near the end of the season and went into the play offs with a lack of confidence this season I think they'll be ok .

By dropping points at Truro last week they took it out of their own hands. but yeah they should be ok as they're still in pretty good form
Have not caught up with it, but from brief twitter info, Hamlet hammered Greys today at Champion HIll but ended up 1-0 losers, not sure how this affects the play offs
Darts confirmed in play-offs after today's result vs Hampton - I can't see Maidenhead screwing up now - they have a big game vs Ebbsfleet coming up, but even if Ebbsfleet won that, it's still in Maidenhead's hands - chances of Darts vs Ebbsfleet in the play-offs now high - now that will be a great day out - come on you Darts
Gawd knows what was going on at Park View Road today (Erith & Belvedere playing) as they needed two Ambulances for injured players within a short period of time.
Watched Chelmsford beat welling today and can't say I was overly impressed with Chelmsford. Welling have taken the lead against both Ebbsfleet and Chelmsford recently, then thrown it away. I think the pressure will be on Ebbsfleet, so therefore will go with Dartford.

Was tempted to drive to this myself and tried to get my daughter interested. Managed to get as far as Danson Park
Have to say National League South has been crazy this season, Fleet could end up with 96 points and not get automatic promotion.
Maidenhead have had a very fortunate run of luck, they have a fairly small squad and haven't had any major injuries. Tarpey, who had previously been pretty much shit, has had a blinder, then again Maidenhead have had more penalties than any other team in the league!
Maidenhead play Margate on the last day of the season, if Fleet do win next Saturday then I cannot see Margate beating them but stranger things have happened.
It's pretty much odds on that Fleet will be in the playoffs, at the moment it looks like Dirtford will play Chelmsford, and I can see Chelmsford doing them. Currently Poole are in 5th and Hungerford are in 6th. Neither can go up because of ground regs (which is ridiculous because why were they let in the league in the first place?) So there is very chance Fleet will play Hampton who are currently seventh.
Fleet are desperately missing Danny Kedwell at the moment, he broke his arm at Truro and had surgery last week. However he has every intention of being back by Saturday, though my guess is that it will be at least a week later.
As for them bottling it, I don't think so. There is something about this squad that tells me they won't.

Dirtford ? I got grief for saying Shitfleet a few weeks back !!! ;-)
As for bottling it, given all the money ploughed in at Stonebridge Road on the squad, surely by missing out on the title two years running (probably) they have bottled it already ?
To miss out on the title to a pretty average Maidenhead this season, given the resources available, is amazing really
The play offs are a lottery - as Webbed Feet proved last season........

Careful - you will be accused of 'Ebbsfleet bashing' if you're not careful

Cows on the line at Hever meant our train journey became a 24 miles taxi ride from Edenbridge!

Fortunately two others were going to Uckfield(not for football surprisingly enough!) so four in a cab totalled £40.

Chelmsford will play Dartford in the play offs. Its just a case of playing for home advantage.
