Looks like a fancy beehive in a default 'football shield' type frame.

Getting rid of the Latin motto is a good example of 'dumbing down' ;-)
  • What is that on Evertons badge ?

  • If I felt better I'd do something with this.

  • Concerning Rob Coll's suggested redesign that began this thread - his sword looks more like a candle standing upright in a little dish. No! Absolutely no need to tamper with an icon that's so strong and familiar.
  • Glad to see the new Everton badge retains their Goals For and Goals Against!

He's a Nigel on the wind up.
  • If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That's a bit harsh. Given that there were six previous posts on the thread yesterday, BA was hardly lifting it out of obscurity.
  • If you were branded a stripey twat, would you be ok with it?
  • Fair dos.

What local landmark could we have on a new club badge if we went down that route? Charlton House? The Thames Barrier?

Wearing their new badge with pride at the moment no doubt?
  • 12 years..... jheez
  • As stated before the use of a sword which can be interpreted as a knife is irresponsible in this day and age of knife crime and youth stabbings, it would be the responsible thing to do, changing to a Robin or adopting a more contemporary badge as Fulham did.

Leave the badge alone, its fine and doesnt need changing.

Can't believe how successful an April fools prank this was. Everyone was fuming. No one would ever believe it now.

Worked so well that we even had some of the staff believing it was genuine . . .
  • Change it just to piss off all fans with tats
  • This is the worst idea I have heard in a long time.
