    Quick pint anyone?
Given our cup prowess I’m surprised they’ve not changed it to The Charlton Out

    23 managers in 16 years.
Every now & again they put a sign out.  Under new management.
  • Two suspicious (simultaneous) pub fires just down the road from the White Horse near Selhurst-

  • We're currently doing an air bnb in Brazil.
It turns out we're two minutes from a favela, but two minutes from okay.
This bar I'm aware you have to be aware, but 'my people'.
    Very cheap :)

  • Two more people have been arrested over a blaze that tore through the Crooked House pub.

I guess the pub frontage doesn't do the toilets justice.
    Toilets?

That's the bucket out the front on the left.
  • biggest issue with pubs is people expect everything

    sports
    decent food
    bottomless brunches
    a ridic selection of drinks

recently have frequented the prince albert in bexleyheath as my md when down weekly stays down at the marriot so makes sense as opposite.

  • £5 a pint 12 months ago was okay, nowadays £6 is acceptable.
    Where will it all end?

Not many tables, but they still number them 😂
  • Heard some rumours that this could be the end for Hardy's in east Greenwich, although the developer plans to keep a pub there...

It works for me, I can still think I'm in a Wetherspoons!

Yep, where do you draw the line, was in our local spoons the other day pint and a glass of house white for £5, ale was in good nick and wife happy enough with the wine, bar/pub just up the road (nothing special) £10.50 for similar drinks.

That’s terrible news. Hardy’s is one of our pre-match venues and, following the closure of the adjoining restaurant, they’re happy for you to bring food in. There’s an excellent Japanese fusion restaurant two doors down, which is incredibly good value - as is the pub.

Often popped in there after going swimming....assume the pool is still there?

It is but has been closed for years.

    That's a shame.
  • Paid £4.80 for a pint of Tribute in the Bricklayers Arms, Beckenham yesterday, and very nice it was too.

Can't remember the last time I bought a pint for under a fiver.

I imagine The George will be nearer £6 nowadays.  Always liked that boozer and would often pop in on the way home from The Valley.
