I'm hearing good reports of the new Wetherspoons at London Bridge station, can anybody confirm.
Apparantly, given the area and a station spoons being not as cheap as in the high street, it is reasonably priced.
I’ve not been - but my mate is a big fan.
Not least because he thinks it will piss off the moany old bag in the Shipwrights.

Only been in The Shipwrights about twice but thought it was a great boozer, although will swerve it now as it has a spoons as a neighbour.
What sort of person swerves a proper pub for a spoons. No wonder this thread exists
COME ON NOW, There are lots of people who desire nothing more than eating a steak so dense light bends around it or a roast that would make a homeless person at christmas say "nah your alright, ill see what KFC throws in bins later".

Also you undersetimate the value of a show with your drink, where else would you be able to see a a family of 14 all decked out in their finest Sport's Direct tracksuits with 12 kids who all have names that are a variation on "Kenzie, Kenzo, Dane etc", stare at ipads whilst their parents polish off their 4th WKDs at 1.45pm on a tuesday afternoon. Whilst some would prefer to pay £1 or 2 more a pint to have a more sophisticated experience surrounded by fellow intellectuals to discuss current events, politics and the latest developments in the STEM field. No judgement though guys.
I'm curious as to how you acquired such detailed knowledge as you don't frequent the pubs.
Occasionally I partake in charity work and will visit a "spoons" (as long as my protection team given the go ahead)
