I still think he is worth keeping until the Summer unless an offer comes in that is too good not to turn down for a player with 6 months left on their contract.
Strange to think about how influential he was in our team that won the league last year yet very few seemed convinced he actually would offer us anything in the Championship.
I don't think it is entirely Bradley's fault. We do have some very good strikers in our team.
I might get shot down but i still think he can score goals at this level and could still do a job for us
I'm totally in this camp, bloke behind me slags him off week in week out before he's even touched the ball, I personally think he's a very intelligent player, makes lots of great runs but just doesn't get the service.
think it would be a mistake to sell him, especially with Haynes so unreliable fitness wise

Agreed cafctom, unless we are lined up for Hulse on a perm or A N Other (2).
Out of contract at end of season. No League 1 clubs with any money and he has never quite done it in Champ has he so not a lot of people knocking our door down with cash to spend on him

So where are these good strikers we have how bmany goals between them this season
I had the misfortune of sitting in Row C, West Lower, at ground level right behind the Huddersfield dugout last Saturday - so decided to watch BWP, Wilson and Cook very closely in the 1st half as they were the prevailing players right in front of me.
As this is the BWP thread, I've got to say I was impressed with his workrate and willingness to run the channels. Unfortunately, service to him was generally poor - a couple of Kermo flick-ons, a Stephens pass, Pritch with a looping header over a square back line that BWP latched onto wide and took to the goaline and squared across goal, when really he should have cut in and tested the keeper. That was about it really.
If we expect BWP or our any of our strikers to score, the rest of the team must at least create chances.
I think he showed when he came on the other week that he was sharp & looking to make good runs. Sort out the service & I think he'll score a good few at this level. Would really like him to stay.
CP has a strange way about him. Seems like he doesn't really want BWP yet he's making out he still has a chance at CAFC, but I strongly suspect CP is just trying to get a few bob for him.

Exactly what the gaffer said at the NWKA meeting in November
BWP to Col U in a swap for Wordsworth would seem a good deal for all concerned?
Good call V11. Maybe BWP wouldn't want to swap the bright lights of SE7 for the eastern wastelands though?
Big fish in small pond. Plus he'll be released in a few months anyway so better to tie a deal up now. And it's not a million miles from his native Laaaaandon.
Whenever I've seen BWP play I've not had a problem with his work rate. He sometimes has a slightly sulky look about him but I've never felt he;s been lazy or not trying.
I never been totally convinced by the quality of his finishing either though. He quite often seems to scuff the ball and he has missed his fair share of one-on-ones. He did get a fair number of goals last season and some of them were well taken, I just don;t think he's quite the goalscorer he's made out to be. Given regular starts in a decent, creative Championship side he'd probably get into double figures but not into the 20s, imo.

Hulse five goals in eight starts?
Is it worth reading into that?

On a pessimistic note I would keep him in case we drop back down to his level.
I have a sneaking feeling that DNG might be on his way from Millsmall.
I mean a dog from Jamie and the magic torch for a proven goal scorer
Nah do one
