  • Would be nice to have Llera and Doherty in defence....

    Pantomime season?

Would certainly bring a smile to your face. Surprised the massives haven't signed Doherty.

In that case calm reaction time. :-)

Morrison has been consistent all season, and made one mistake.
Cort, had been a liability of late, until Milwall when suddenly he came good.
Dervite, early days but showing promise.
Taylor, I think we really miss him. IMHO.
Wiggins, not having a proper left back is a major problem, although the awesome Solly is doing a remarkable job on the wrong side of the pitch.
    Wilson, getting better and better.

Overall a fairly good defensive unit, for selection. Even better when they are all fit. It's a selection headache that most managers would love to have.

A very good defensive unit, with our weak midfield the defence are always going to be busy, mistakes will happen but I like that 'unit', didn't go to the Brighton game but did go to Millwall and would of understood if Powell had kept the Cort/Dervite partnership going, they were both superb over there, CP is lucky to have 4 very good CB's.
  • Fortunate, but not lucky imo. He signed them all for next to nothing, so I'd say very good judgement.

Morrow certainly had it tough against one of the best strikers in the league but he made 3 mistakes not 1 that everyone talks about. Besides the header, he mistimed a tackle to give away the free kick and unless I'm mistaken it was between him and Hulse that ball went through in the wall.

Don't think it's really fair to call a deflection when you're in a wall a 'mistake'. He was getting in the way of the shot, which is what he's supposed to do. Pot luck where the ball rebounds to and it was unfortunate that it happened to go in the goal rather than to another defender or into Hamer's hands.

Rubbish. It's quite basic. A wall is supposed to do what it says. No holes in itso the player can't get through. It should only be able to go round or over. It's a wall not a Sieve!

Utter crap! Footballers are human beings, not Tetris blocks. There are gaps, people move, the ball moves, there are often opposition players interspersed amongst the defenders.
  • Morrison's mistake for the 2nd goal was giving away the free kick.
  • I like morrison good player! My cousin(cafc fan also) says morro is shite! I say no he isnt hes very good which makes my coz say are you in love with morrison or something lol
  • IMO best signing Powell has made and to me he is quality. Best centre half since the prem days. MM and Solly, those 2 would walk in to any defence in this league.
