Hamer 8 two greatsaves kept us in the game.
Wilson 6 not a defender, looks better in midfield.
Morrison 5 a point off that poorheaded attempt at a clearance.
    Dervite 6 solid
Solly 7 a decent game in particular going forward.
    Pritchard 6
Frimpong 5 slower than I expected, to many under hit passes, lead to their second goal.
    Stephens 5
    Jackson 6
    Hulse 6
Haynes 7 Wish he had been playing as an out and out forward, wasted so deep on the wing.

Are you joking about Wilson and Stephens, were equally our best players yesterday, presume you never played football at school!

  • Hamer - 7. comfortable day, nothing he could do with both goals, left exposed for first & deflection for 2nd. Thought he may even have been a little concussed after blocking that shot with his face. Great keeping, but he was out on his feet for a little while.

Wilson - 9 great to have him back. Huge performance for his first game in a couple of months.

Morrison - 7 should have had at least one pen from him battles with El-Abd. Awful attempted clearance header that let Mackail-Smith in, but didn't let it get to him & solid rest of game.

Dervite - 7.5 built well on last week's performance. Gives us a third solid centre half in the side and a chance to give Cort a rest as it gets busy.

Solly - 7 I assume Seaborne has gone back. Shame that we couldn't see Sol & Wilson as RB/RM combo. Steady game, one great covering tackle when he came across to clear in 1st half.

Pritchard - 6.5 can't fault his effort, but his lack of pace and slowness in decision making means he gets caught too many times. You can see what he means to his colleagues though, with the way he was mobbed for the goal. Probably a 70 minute player at the moment, would love him to bulk up a little and progress further.

Frimpong - 7 solid, some decent passing particularly in 1st half. Lucky not to be booked...Buckley was doing his best to persuade ref after those 2 quick fouls.

Stephens - 8 one poor pass, but rest of the game he put himself about and was chasing/harrying all game long.

Jackson - 7.5 looked shattered just before he came off, great shift from the skipper.

Hulse - 6.5 one of his poorer performances, not much went right for him, but do think he & Haynes can work well together.

Haynes - 6.5 like Hulse, not too much shown yesterday. Should have had a free down in the corner.

Felt we hassled Brighton all game, something you have to do as we saw them pass us to death last time and that's the game they play. Surprised Green didn't get 20 minutes after a decent shift last week. We were struggling at end, but a point (despite the deflection) probably the right result.

Hamer - 7 not to blame for the goal
Wilson - 7 blazes forward well
Morrison - 6 good game but point off for dreadfulness error
Dervite - 7.5 very assured, changed man
Solly - 7.5 excellent, the usual
Pritchard - 7 busy busy. He loved that goal
Frimpong - 7 screened well and allowed Stephens to get up
    Stephens - 7.5 great
Jackson - 6 pretty quiet but nice setup for the second
Hulse - 6 tried hard but got little
Haynes - 6 didn't do a lot, looked a bit slower than usual

Bloke Behind Me 5 - unusually this wasn't the worst match he'd seen in fifty years. Seemed to be obsessed by male anal sex in a deeply repressed way. Apparently Solly is a wanker, Wilson is a pikey, Morrisom is pants and SCP is clueless. His frequent toilet visit meant he missed both our goals. Kicked my seat less than 200 times so he's getting better.

  • How many crosses does Solly need to let happen before he gets marked on performance rather than reputation?
  • How many crosses does Solly need to let happen before he gets marked on performance rather than reputation?

There is probably an element of allowance for his playing out of position.

Considering Solly was playing out of position against one of the best players in the division ie Buckley, I thought he had a good game.

Buckley skinned him about 15 mins from the end & troubled him towards the end, but I thought Solly handled him really well overall.

  • Hamer - 6.5 first was at him
Wilson - 7.5 good tackles, great run
Morrison - 6.5 solid, apart from losing CMS for goal
Dervite. - 7 starting to warm to him
Solly - 6 let too many crosses over. Get a left back there, even a kid.
Pritchard - 6.5 good energy, glad he wasn't hurt under pile of bodies
Frimpong - 6 will he give more once fitter or is CCC beneath him?
Stephens - 8 MOM showed why Prem sides want him
    Jackson - 6 a step too far
    Hulse - 7 shame he is 33
Haynes - 6 extra point for keeping them concerned

Mind you, you thought Brighton's 1st goal was straight at Hamer, no one else did.

  • Hamer 8 Couple of quality saves and couldn't do anything about the goals
Wilson 8.5 Defended well but was terrific going forward can't wait until he is right midfield in front of CS
Morrison 5.5 probably the worst game I have seen him play for us CMS was making him nervous all afternoon. Still one poor display does not make him a bad player
    Dervite 6.5 generally solid
Solly 8.5 Joint MOM with Wilson. I fear we will lose him soon
Pritchard 7 gets an extra 1 for the goal (odd celebration from where I sit lower North I thought he had missed) but gave the ball away too much
Frimpong 7.5 lots of energy and drive can't quite understand why some posters don't rate him
Stephens 7.5 got forward more and was always in the game but seemed to tire at the end
Jackson 5 Not really effective out wide, no pace and was caught with the ball a lot
Hulse 7 ran hard and showed good touch but a bit isolated
Haynes 7 pace was there to see but he isn't a wide man with him and Hulse in the team it needed Danny Green out wide. Silly team selection

Kermorgant na Didn't do anything when he came on

  • How many crosses does Solly need to let happen before he gets marked on performance rather than reputation?

I have to say, I scored him 5.5, much lower than most others on here. I thought he had a poor game, to be honest. He looked uncomfortable at left back, allowed a number of crosses and looked lost as he moved forward. Yes, he did play out of position, but others have played out of position and been marked on their performance. I might concede that his low mark from me might be biased by the fact that I was in the West Stand close to where he was defending second half, but I thought he had a poor game, particularly by his standards.
