  • Hamer 8 Brighton were threatening but didn't have an awful lot to do.
Wilson 9 MOM thought Wilson was excellent. Defended admirably and that lung-busting run at the end summed up his desire today
Morrison 7 Poor mistake but was otherwise solid
Dervite 8 Very solid today. Bit more mobile than moro and cort. did well.
Solly 8 Class act as usual
Pritchard 7 Took his time with the goal and made sure it was an accurate shot.
Frimpong 5 Can't say I was too impressed. Didn't really get stuck in and a few poor passes
Stephens 7 some excellent passes but went a bit invisible sometimes. Did get stuck in to a challenge later on which was nice
Jackson 6 good start but went missing a bit which is why Powell took him off
Hulse 6 Didn't get a lot of service today and the ref was blowing up for his every challenge
    Haynes 5 Wasn't fit

    Ref 2 - wasn't a free kick

  • Hamer - MOM - 9.5 Marks seem fairly low, I thought he was absolutely class. Commanded his area, a couple of top drawer saves and no chance with the goals.
Wilson - 7.5 best game I've seen of him at full-back. The Solly and Wilson partneship looks tasty.
Morrison - 6.5 Mackail-Smith had his number, poor mistake.
    Dervite - 8 Solid. Impressed.
Solly - 7.5 Don't like him at left back, but i prefer him there to Kerkar. Did his best.
Pritchard - 7 Absolute blinder ... For the first ten mins. ( includes plus one for the goal)
Frimpong - 7 not his best game, I believe he can do much much better than that.
    Stephens - 8.5 At last!
Jackson - 6.5 Started well and ran himself into the ground, this meant he got tired and then went missing.
Hulse - 7 got his head on a lot, there was no one to collect the flick ons. Some fouls were very harsh against him and Brighton defenders got away with murder against him.
Haynes - 6.5 didn't do a lot and didn't see his pace, I presume he was not fit

  • Hamer - 7
Wilson - 8 back from injury amazed he lasted the full 94mins
Morrison - 6 CMS was a real handfull
    Dervite - 7
    Solly - 7
    Pritchard - 6
    Frimpong - 6
    Stephens - 6
Jackson - 5 still struggling to find his touch at this level
    Hulse - 7
    Haynes - 6

Subs - neither had enough time to impose themselves

Midfield a concern, little invention and lack of pace

  • Hamer - 8.5 - Absolute hero for that save, unlucky with both goals really nothing much he could do.
Wilson - 8.5 - Best run of the game.
Morrison - 6.5 - He gave away the goal, but everyone has an off day from time to time, no one will be more disappointed that him, he'll come back from that.
    Dervite - 8 solid.
Solly - 8.5 - So good, but then again, that's why he's better than John Terry.
Pritchard - 7 got a goal but was lacking in a lot of areas.
Frimpong - 7.5 good playmaker but got caugh in possession a bit
Stephens - 8 - back to what we expect for the first 60 minutes, faded a little bit though
    Jackson - 6.5 - A bit absent unfortunately
Hulse - 7 starting to grow on me, had a much better game today and was getting shoved about non stop.
Haynes - 7 up for it, but playing a bit too wide, definitely more to come from him this season.

Hamer - 8 - Terrific save first half.
Wilson - 7.5 better late second half than first half, thought he got caught out of position a number of times. Rampaging run at the end of 2nd half, shows that he makes a great right midfield.
Morrison - 6.5 - lost 1/2 mark for header that led to first goal.
    Dervite 7 Good
Solly 7.5 - Much better at right back than left back, but still a great player.
Pritchard 7 - Lacks quality, some misplaced passes, cannot fault his attitude. Pleased to see him score.
Frimpong 7 - Some good runs, but ultimatley a bit disappointed with a few misplaced passes, and fell over too easily.
Stephens - 7.5 Some better passing than of late, would like to see him play further forward in midfield.
Jackson - 6.5 Looked off the pace.
    Hulse - 7 OK
Haynes - 7 Prefer to see him play in a more central position

  • Hamer 7.5 couple of good saves, couldn't have done much for either goal
    Wilson 8 MOM
Morrison 6.5 couple of mistakes but worked really hard. Was pulled, pushed and jostled every time he went forward
    Dervite 7 good game
    Solly 7.5 excellent as ever
Pritchard 7 worked really hard, he's our gadfly. Glad he finally scored.
Frimpong 6.5 some nice touches but didn't impose himself
Stephens 7.5 excellent holding up and passing today
    Jackson 7 off the pace
Hulse 7.5 worked hard, too isolated
Haynes 7 his pace worried them a couple of times, but not enough. Would guess he's not fully fit
  • Hamer 8 Excellent saves today.
    Wilson 8
Morrison 6 Couple of blunders and a missed headed opportunity - not his day.
    Dervite 7
    Solly 7
Pritchard 6.5 Should have come off for the last ten minutes.
Frimpong 7 Getting fitter. Very aggressive.
    Stephens 7.5 Stylish
Jackson 6 Ran his heart out. Not in his favourite position.
    Hulse 7
    Haynes 7

    Ref 2 - wasn't a free kick

one of the best refs we have had for a long time IMO. Kept the game flowing and no silly bookings for either team.
  • Hamer - 8 MOM 2 great saves kept us in the game. No chance with either of their goals but commanded his area superbly.
Wilson - 7 Glad to see him get a goal. Stuck to Lua Lua like glue in the second half. Can see Wilson and Solly working down the right when left backs are fit.
Morrison - 6 The guy has football in his blood. Distraught at being at fault for their first but kept going.
Dervite - 6 Gave away the free kick that lead to their equaliser but solid with Morro.
Solly - 7 You take him for granted. Hope he can be a Charlton legend for years to come! Superb as usual.
Pritchard - 7 Some sloppy passes but made up for it with his first goal at the Valley.
Frimpong - 7 Sprayed the ball around nicely but for one sloppy cross field ball that gave them a chance.
Stephens - 7 Some sublime balls from midfield. Worked well with Frimpong.
Jackson - 6 Not at his best today and seemed to be chasing the game but still worked his socks off.
Hulse - 7 Held the ball up superbly and was involved in the second goal. Hope we can get him to stay.
Haynes - 6 Probably a little bit wasted out on the wing having to compensate for our lack of options on the right. Up against a premier league left back in Bridge though.

Wilson 8.5 MOM - Slotted back into the team really well
Morrison 6 - Have to knock something off for their first goal
    Dervite 7
    Solly 7.5
    Pritchard 7
    Frimpong 7
    Stephens 7
    Jackson 6.5
Hulse 7.5 - Worked hard as always
Haynes 5 - I like him generally but didn't look fit to me

  • Hamer 7.5 Commanding, no chance with the goals and a nice gesture to Morro after his mistake for the goal

Wilson 8 Awesome performance considering that he has had no football for weeks

Morrison 6.5 Shaky by his standards. A bad day at the office.

Dervite 7.5 Love his physical presence.

Solly 7.5 Excellent performance out of positin

Pritchard 7 A few misplaced passes but works so hard and delighted he scored

Frimpong 7 deserved a 9 in patches but faded

    Stephens 7 as Frimpong

Jackson 7 worked hard but delivery of set pieces not up to usual high standards

Hulse 8.5 Immense shift. If he had a bit of pace he'd be in the Prem.

Haynes 7 Game passed him by a bit. Not all his fault as the midfield lost their grip at times

  • Hamer - 6.5 first was at him
Wilson - 7.5 good tackles, great run
Morrison - 6.5 solid, apart from losing CMS for goal
Dervite. - 7 starting to warm to him
Solly - 6 let too many crosses over. Get a left back there, even a kid.
Pritchard - 6.5 good energy, glad he wasn't hurt under pile of bodies
Frimpong - 6 will he give more once fitter or is CCC beneath him?
Stephens - 8 MOM showed why Prem sides want him
    Jackson - 6 a step too far
    Hulse - 7 shame he is 33
Haynes - 6 extra point for keeping them concerned
