  • Hamer 8.5 -Some great saves today although made a mistake with 5 minutes to go by not getting to the ball to prevent an unnecessary and anxiety inducing corner .
Wilson 9-great effort and tenacity although caught out a few times first half .Excellent second half with very impressive pace and fitness levels after long lay off .Did what he needed to do with his booking so don't blame him for that .MOTM
Dervite 7.5 -solid and reliable:well played.
Morrison 7-solid and reliable save for one insane moment that led to their first goal .Dreadful header .Tried to be too flash when he should have put his nut straight through it however raw that might have looked .
Solly 7- a bit shaky at times but his anticipation and pace were enormously helpful .up against a dangerous winger in Buckley today who got the better of him a few times especially late 2nd half .
Haynes 6.5-some nice touches but didn't worry them enough .Didn't seem fit .Looking forward to seeing him again get a regular run of games .
Frimpong 7-impressive first half with range of incisive passing and tackling but faded 2nd half .Lucky also to escape a booking for some rash challenges .
Stephens 8-dynamic and an influence on the game .Good range of passing save for 1 awful square pass .Looked classy although also faded but not to same extent as Frimpong .
Pritchard 5.5-scored and some neat touches but off the pace due to lack of pace .Too lightweight and a truly dreadful square pass leading indirectly to their goal .the cause of much breaking down in the midfield .
Jackson 7.5 -a good 50 minutes and with Wilson hardest working Charlton player on the pitch but not surprised to see him make way after great effort.
Hulse 6- a bit frustrated with him today .an average match because he struggled to hold up and lay off consistently .Thought their centre backs did a good job on him especially their No.6.Why did he not push the ball to the left wing on the 87th minute having held it up nicely deep in our half ?my heart almost stopped at that moment as Buckley whipped in to nick it off him .failure to do so could have cost us the game at the death but thankfully did not .

  • Hamer 8 - two top class saves and caught the ball well. Once or twice he could have released Haynes, but the kicks went astray.
Wilson 8 - great performance, will tear up and down the wing once Wiggins is back.
Morrison 6.5 - the mistake took a bit of his confidence away, too good a player to drop.
Dervite 7 - solid and looked quite pacey, deflected shot at the end that the joke of a ref missed.
Solly 7 - not his best performance, got beaten by the winger a few times and he got some dangerous crosses in.
Pritchard 7 - energy and a goal, missing some quality on the ball.
Frimpong 7 - a lot better that previous games, tackled and dribbled the ball well.
Stephens 7.5 - up and down, tackled and got a few shots in, a lot to like in this performance.
Jackson 6.5 - did not see much of the ball, but harried and tackled.
Hulse 8.5 - MOM - Chased all game, won all his headers and drew two great saves from their keeper. Can't believe the comment about him being lazy, on here.
Haynes 6.5 - not a threat on the wing, needs to play through the middle. Done his fair share of defending.

A fair result in the end, but we could have been 2 or 3 up before Brighton had a chance. Their keeper stopped us going two up by using his face!
  • Hamer 7.5 - hard to fault
Wilson 8 - wasn't sure 7about him but today was excellent
Morrison 5 - solid but 3 mistakes cost us 2 goals
Dervite 7,5 - hard to fault
Solly 7 - made to look ordinary
Pritchard 6.5 - look tired today but kept going
    Frimpong 5.5 - poor
Stephens 7.5 - by far our best midfield player - cant understand the stick he gets
    Jackson 7
    Hulse 7.5 -
Haynes 5.5 - never got in it

kerkar - never liked him much and groaned when he came on but thought he did well
    kermi - get fit please

Hamer - 8 - Some class saves again and wasn't at fault for either of the goals
Wilson - 8 - Great going forward and solid enough at the back, he'll be even better at right mid
Morrison - 5 - Shocker for him. Mistake for the first goal and gave away the FK for the second
Dervite - 6.5 - Was solid enough. A good choice by SCP to play him instead of the less moblie Cort
Solly - 7 - Well he was just quality as usual but he is so much more better on the right
Pritchard - 7 - (extra 0.5 for goal) He scored at last, and with his usual 100% work rate it means he was good
Frimpong - 6.5 - Drifted in and out the game to much but was decent when in play
Stephens - 9 - Pure brilliance. His passing was untouchable and he split their defense open on more than one occasion as well as pulling the strings in the middle. Also got stuck in and chased down everything, he was box to box for 90 mins - MOTM
Jackson - 6.5 - He does suffer on the left due to his lack of pace but he still does very well with his passing and retaining possession
Hulse - 7 - Very good first half where he won everything in the air and held that ball up very well. But faded badly in the 2nd where he looked knackered
Haynes - 6.5 - Was wasted out on the right as he tends to drift out of the game alot there like today

Hamer 8.5 One terrific block - couldn't do much with goals -just wish he'd put a player on the line for free kicks.
Wilson 9 Thought he was excellent -MOTM
Morrison 7 Solid but to blame for their first - got a great foot on the ball to stop a certain goal in the second half
Dervite 8 Solid and won his headers
Solly 8 You get what it says on the tin - every game
Pritchard 7 Energy levels up to usual standard but was struggling a bitby his usual standards so of course it was going to be the game where he was going to get his first league goal.
Frimpong 6 Not fully up to speed yet -but you can see there is a top player in there
Stephens 7 Thought he was very good
Jackson 6 Was out muscled and out paced a bit but battled on and had a part in our second
Hulse 8 Thought he played the target man role excellently
Haynes 5 Not really involved -not fully fit?

Brighton were a physical but mostly fair side who pass the ball much better than most. Dive and look for the foot a bit too much for my liking so you need a decent ref against them - oh well. I thought defensively they looked suspect and ultimately the draw was a fair result based on chance created. Ref did annoy me though - let too many things go in their favour and was ultra harsh on us. I know I am biased but I genuinely believe this was the case yesterday.
  • Hamer 8 two greatsaves kept us in the game.
Wilson 6 not a defender, looks better in midfield.
Morrison 5 a point off that poorheaded attempt at a clearance.
    Dervite 6 solid
Solly 7 a decent game in particular going forward.
    Pritchard 6
Frimpong 5 slower than I expected, to many under hit passes, lead to their second goal.
    Stephens 5
    Jackson 6
    Hulse 6
Haynes 7 Wish he had been playing as an out and out forward, wasted so deep on the wing.
