  • Yeah, Nathan, you are a bit of a prat sometimes.
  • My mate called a nil nil after 10 minutes. Midfield non existant but

But? .........we are hanging on to your every word!

    ;o)

  • Haynes!!!

Would love to have won there. But ignoring the day and the occasion and the fact we really owed them a beating, a decent point. Stephens and kerkar were poor. Defence were excellent. We didnt have any pace or flair attacking wise.
  • Not the best of games but would have taken a point before kick off. Think we could have taken all 3 if we had some pace up front. At least we shut them mugs up and defended well.
  • Finger slipped
  • Did anyone think of Nathan when we sung 'does the social know your here'? ;-)
  • We did a job on them and Cort was immense.
  • Swearing police are out tonight. If you were there, what word would you use to describe the millwall fans at the end? It was a terrible game. Would have taken a point before the game so no real problems on that front. That's not getting away from the fact that we were really poor, I can't remember a single chance we had. Well played the defence and well sung, onwards to Brighton
  • Happy with the point as I don't expect too much from these games.

Nice drink in the Birds Cage in Deptford but left it too late so arrived just after KO. Chaotic seating but that's the norm when a big club plays away at a little club not used to sell outs.

Even first half but they went for it when Dany NG came on and we were a bit under the Koc. For all their long range shots they didn't create many clear cut chances. Then again we didn't create much at all.

But yet again we go away, keep it tight, stick heads and bodies in when needed and don't concede. Austin, Wood, all these top scorers not getting a sniff.

MOM Dervitte. Came in after not playing for a while and was very solid. No shirkers or lack of effort but the whole midfield look below par.

Strange that Frimpong was dropped even if I haven't been as impressed as others. BWP instead of Haynes will also get the Powell haters frothing at the mouth.

    We move on.
  • It does sound that Powell didn't really want to risk Haynesy, unless we were chasing the game.

Anyway, BWP needed some minutes on the pitch to keep him sharp and involved.

Happy with a point. Arguably the hardest place to go at the moment because of their form. Haven't lost in 13 or something now? Would've liked to see Haynes play, especially as he was fit for it or he wouldn't have been included. Sounds like Powell went to get a point and you can't really complain. Anything away from home against a team in the playoff positions is good.

Also saw this on Twitter, hope it's not true & no1 on our side resorted to anything similar!

    Danny Haynes ‏@ballaboydan
The MILLWALLL fans 2day was disgusting . The racial abuse I received was embarrassing. Not impressed at all!

    Frimpong too.

    Emmanuel Frimpong ‏@Frimpong26AFC
If I didn't no what a racist man ever look like....surely found that out at millwall today #ruthless fans
  • Mom Leon Cort, an absolute hero. They definitely were the better team by a long way. I am absolutely sick of Kerkar. I don't understand why Yam was taken off instead of Hulse who was terrible. Some of the passing was absolutely terrible to be honest, especially from Stephens. I'll say it, we were lucky to be honest.

Having said that the atmosphere was brilliant and I had a great time, which is just as well.

Wasn't there and only heard a little bit of Final Score.

However I'm absolutely delighted with a boring 0-0 draw at The Den and proud of my team.

If I'm in a minority so be it!

Millwall fans were average today. Atmosphere generally was poor, except at full time. What happened to that Cardiff response?

Quality drowning out of Miiiii with inaudible rubbish of our own whilst our hands were in the air. Would've been great to use it for the bouncy, the scum liked that one.

I expect Kermo was dead on his feet - sub cameo last Saturday, 95 mins on Tuesday, and just 4 days later charging around today.

It's a big ask of him, after 2 months out. Bloke's done brilliantly to play the minutes he has this week.
  • Frimpong tweeted about racial abuse as well! An absolute toilet of a football club!
Meant to add on my other post! Dervitte and Cort men of match!

Good point after a pretty even 1 st half, bit of a batter ing second half. Jackson Stephens are not a strong enough central midfield. Haynes made a difference when he came on.

I claim baffling eye sight. Even if I was in row B
  • The ref had a good game, wasn't intimidated by incessant HANDBALL shouts from crowd behind goal.
  • Pleased with a draw considering how much they battered us second half. Hulse seemed slow to react, was poor. Yann seems a bit unfit. I presume Haynes and Fuller weren't fit enough otherwise I expected them on. Thought Cort was poor in the first half - missed and misread quite a few headers, unusually. But the backs against the wall (no pun intended) job in the second half worked in the end. Really thought they'd score though, so a tense/nervous experience! All in all a great point I think.

  • Re the racism, suprised not to see anyone on here mention the monkey noises aimed at BWP. At first thought they were boos but quickly became apparent it was more sinister. Would love to say it's shocking but it's no suprise
  • Danny Haynes has also tweeted about racist abuse to him.
  • Happy with the point, they created what few chances there were. Agree with Dippenhall, ref was very good.
  • I nearly got my farkin ed kicked in.

Came out of the ground and heard someone point me out by what I was wearing. Next minute he was right behind me calling me a spineless c**t then and older fella holding his kids hand started having a pop at me. God knows what I done but a copper told them where to go and luckily I got away. They've really got issues that lot.

The game was poor but out defence were top drawer. Cort was bloody brilliant as was Dervite. Solly quality again.

Midfield done ok. Was clearly up for the battle as a team. Would of liked to see Haynes come on and run at shittu. He was pony.

Well happy with a point. Time to go home and have round 2 with the missus

Yeah fair enough :-) he really worked his socks off today.

Thought Hulse was good today, won headers all day over Shittu who some Millwall fans seem to think is an impenetrable wall.

Apparently, according to the OS, there were confrontational scenes at the end following a flare being thrown from the away stand.....
  • Apparently, according to the OS, there were confrontational scenes at the end following a flare being thrown from the away stand.....

    You read right, unfortunately.

  • Quote from Millwall OS...
"In front of The Lions best home crowd in over a decade..."
  • Yet again we start another game having to make forced changes with injuries badly lacked pace but that will come with Haynes Wilson and Wiggins back.

Millwall the better side but we defended well all the back 4 had good games. Up front I don't think we had a shot on goal in the 2nd half so happy with a point.

Flares and smoke bombs at the end and it all got a bit silly with a group of them getting liary. Loved the counter of their milll chant as most of them don't have more than two brain cells they find it hard to sing anything else
