  • good result, sounds like the battling spirit was back.

    What was problem with Stephens?

felt hamstring tighten during warmup so they didn't risk him
  • I slated Wilson at weekend, and not been all that impressed so far with regards to him, but very pleased to hear him set goal up and play well. Maybe not having as much defensive responsibilities will bring out the best from him. Good result tonight I think. We may well have been on top but a good response to Saturday against a decent side.
  • Good point, cracking support, why cant we be like that at home and nice to see Rob Elliot in the crowd, onto to Wolves saturday now and a little more optimistic
  • Happy with a point but cant help but feel gutted having listened to the game. sounded like we were going to nick it there at the end agonising. looking forward to seeing the new look side, if only we could perform at home as we do away..
  • Also top marks to our fans, you sounded really loud on the radio and out sung there lot all game.
  • Thrilled with the point, I hope we can pick up some momentum now. Perhaps it's a good thing we're away again on Sat! COYR.
  • BBC report is as a 'dour draw'. Seemed an exciting game from the updates?

Lost my voice , great atmosphere
  • great draw need to get some wins though the table never lies

A mid week game grim up north, team changes after adversity, and we come back from a goal down and get a draw...what's not to like?
Personally I give credit to Powell, his staff, and the players for obvious hard work, professionalism and nous...to paraphrase (well copy actually) Peter Mandleson 'we're fighters not quitters'. Take note anybody who may have any down on Chris Powell, he reacted, and it helped us.

  • To think Bradley Pritchard wasn't going to start and was the best player on the pitch

Yeah it was end to end for like the last 20 mins according to the radio and the first half wasn't that dull either. Then again the BBC is shite. I couldn't keep up with all the typing there was so much going on.

You're right, but it changes over the season. I think CP will get us to mid table, despite critical injuries. We're a work in progress.

Want to echo that about the fans...lots of singing throughout...respect.
  • SO proud of the lads tonight and SO pleased for SCP after making some tough decisions following Sat's defeat. No-one could accuse him of sticking with last year's players unconditionally now.

To give Dorian his debut at such a daunting place and to be rewarded by what sounds a great goal - magic !

To grasp the nettle and put Ceddy back in - sounds as though that worked well.

And to bring in Pritch when Stevo pulled out - inspired, with BBC commentators making him their MOM, bless him.

So many positives tonight inc our supporters making themselves heard above the Elland Rd "roar" ....Safe journey home guys, and see you at Molineux.

    We've shown we're fighters tonight - let's not forget that . I don't believe those 2 commentators will.

    Keep the faith !!!!

  • Good point well done to all those that travelled up

Think we will get more points away from home again this season
  • Could have been 3 points, would have been brilliant to get the win, lots of chances.

Lots of positives to take from the game. The team sounded much more balanced. Solly back in at right back. Wilson playing well and played well at right midfield. A Curbs trick that and produces a really solid midfield. Hulse, a real plus. Wilson sounded good on the right wing. Pritchard never stopped running and better in central midfield. Evina, at left back, getting a chance, finally. Great spirit.

A strong midfield. If a team works hard and keeps going with a decent set up, then we have a good chance of picking up points. This looks good for future away games in particular.
  • Cheers for updates. Proud of both team and fans by the sounds of things. Hopefully proof if needed that Pritchard is well worth a place... when played in the right position!!!
  • Great performance. Definitely something to build on. CP showed his courage tonight. This is still a work in progress. I'm encouraged.
  • My First point of call for Match info tonight

Red m says 1-1 and also dervite scored? Get in

Point at Leeds U dont go Down. Relax People

  • Great result after Saturday. Our away games are making up for the home form. Still we missed 4 key players tonight and gave 2 full debuts who did well by the sounds of it. Sort the home form out and we'll be okay
  • BWP well out of his depth and starting to cost us points.
If your reading this Brad then please feel free to ram this observation well and truly back down my throat over the next 7 months.
  • An excellent result. How did Evina play (having moaned for ages that he wasn't in the team, and that Wilson should be in midfield a stuffing would have ruined my theory!)
  • the 2 commentators from Yorkshire radio said that Leeds were poor and that at the end we should have won it - said Leeds scored with their only shot on target. Looks like BWP missed one & then had agreat shot saved by Paddy Kenny.

I would have taken a point but we really do need to start picking up points at home. can't see us getting much at Wolves on Sat and was planning on going with my 9yr old son - if I do will I jinx the team ??
  • So why are we so shite at home???

I know we've been on the wrong side of referee performances a lot this season, but regardless we sound so much better away.
    Bring on the wolves
  • Could someone please confirm where Dervite played? Was he a defensive midfielder or did we play 5 at the back?
  • He played CM

This sums up my thoughts too FF. I'm really looking forward to my first wolves trip on Saturday!

  • Think it's because we haven't learned to play against teams that are resolute, hard working and well organised yet. The more 'attacking' teams (Leicester, Blackpool, Leeds) we seem to do well against but those that are more 'study' (Barnsley, Hull) we run out of ideas against. Hopefully experience in the league will hope us improve in this area.

Apparently only around 17,500 at Elland Rd

Can't remember the last time I heard that low a number for a Leeds home league game!

Well done CP and the lads
