lets hope fuller stays fit and we can get haynes fit looks like Michael Smith could get more involved or would anyone suggest a loan siging is brought in?
Charlton have suffered an injury blow with the news that striker Yann Kermorgant needs surgery after fracturing his ankle, the club revealed on Tuesday.
The French frontman suffered the ailment during training last Thursday and missed Saturday’s match against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
A further scan on Monday afternoon produced some unwelcome news for the 30-year-old and manager Chris Powell.
“Yann has fractured his left ankle and will be operated on this week,” confirmed physio Erol Umut.
“We were not happy with the outcome of his X-ray last Thursday after he had a collision in training, and after Yann rested over the weekend, we had a further scan on Monday.
“That revealed the fracture, so he will be operated on this week, and it will potentially rule him out for three months.”
Just seen this and can't believe it's another longish term injury for the squad.
Guess this is where the other players get their chance to step up to the plate...and maybe the fact that no loanees have been taken aboard so far might be a blessing in disguise if we now need to look ton strengthen other areas of the squad.
Seriously bad news .. :Let's hope that Smith, if he gets the chance, can fill the gap .. on the cup 1/2 full side .. it'll give Wright-Phillips & Fuller the chence to forge a partnership

Ok if we're playing a passing side but we'll need that extra height for a physical game...
