They'll oy come if they get a police escort from Norwood, a helicopter hovering overhead at all times, snipers in every building and Van Damme leading from the front.
I just hope someone is going to pick up the tab. What with the temporary boarding up of local business within a 5 mile radius of the Valley, the cancelling of all Swat team leave, as the Palarse Ultras hit SE7. It is truly the most frightening thing I can imagine and one of the main reasons that I am emigrating to Canada on Monday, it is just too scary !
They had a very good result against the massive yesterday and have signed a few decent players that now have a couple of weeks to bed in. The Valley will feel very hostile and no doubt their players will respond. Let's not get carried away with talk of spanking them and Dougie Howser getting the tin tack. Charlton need to be focused., professional and make sure we get any sort of win. 1 - 0 will be very satisfactory.
We will win this one, even the last time we were in this division and could not beat anyone(or that is what it seemed like) we still beat them, we now have a commited team of classy and hard working players plus a manager who knows what this means to the fans.
Yes we have a committed, very good team now. BUT we are still more than capable of playing shite and having an off day. I'll start gloating if and when we do them. Just looking forward to a cracking all-dayer.
After getting it wrong on Saturday with the prediction that palace will get their first 3 points from us, so we couldn't lose and they couldn't win, now I am thinking they could leapfrog us. Will I ever have the mindset of blinkered brigade? Not just yet!
If Charlton won only four games this season as long as it was against Palace and Millwall that would be enough for me .The last time we played Palace at the Valley i was there, hatred for Palace you bet. Goes back to late 1960s beat them in fa cup replay at Selhurst when over half the ground was taken over by Charlton, but missed out on Division One by finishing one place below Palace that season,it began then and started to grow greater each season. We would have to wait six years to get are revenge winning 1-0 and being promoted from Division Three leaving Palace to play against Millwall in that division the following season. Losing Mike Flanagan to Palace did not help matters but bigger hatred was just around the corner,THE SELHURST YEARS ENOUGH SAID........07-09-85.......THE WHITE PAPER........Suddenly Palace fans are coming out the woodwork in 1990 and you can bet your bottom dollar that had Wimbledon not put us down too Division Two aweek before we played Palace and lost 2-0 you would not have heard the last of it from them. There is a banner in the Covered End that states fortune 84th minute let them remember that fact. As for the past few years that is still fresh in your minds or should be. LET THEM KNOW WE ARE CHARLTON AND THIS IS OUR VALLEY on the 14th Sept.
I was pretty much going to say the same thing...forget the rivalry starting in 86....it was boiling over in the late 60's and 70's........I absolutely hate and despise the Nigels, always have and always will.
Has there been a few posts deleted from this thread btw or is the site playing up? Well played admin if the first but it was inevitable from the OP really it was going to go that way.

Yes, if you want a roof window fitted, that can be arranged when we fit your new roof. ;0)
Just looking forward to a cracking all-dayer.
