So, according to that thread we're clowns, pikeys, trouble makers, to be feared, trainspotters, gimps and generally people that ANY Palarse fan can knock out, apparently.
I think they're a bit confused. Bless.
I don't get the pikeys stuff, do they mean literally gypsies, I would imagine would be more Gillinghams role or do they mean that we're chavs because from south London ? I would imagine the latter, which would seem to contradict their quite frankly laughable claim to be "South London and proud".
We should knock up a banner welcoming them to the "real" South London !
How about a little homage to the graffiti that used to welcome away fans to the Old Den, but instead of "Away fans turn back or die" we could have, "Nigel, turn back, it's past your bedtime".

True. Also they were the 'team of the 80s' , despite never winning the league, FA Cup or anything in europe, as some English clubs did in that decade.
Generally though, I suppose the 'pikeys' thing refer to when we were lodgers there. Given their ground ownership problems over the last few years, it just shows them for the deluded folk they are

I think it refers to the time when they MADE us use caravans as changing rooms etc
"Maybe it's just because I don't have a great imagination, but I always get a real buzz walking through someone else's turf wearing a Palace scarf or shirt. For me it's all part of the football experience if you will."
Nothing to do with the lack of imagination, you're just sad.
Just a word of warning for those who lurk on Palarse forums - careful if you ever have to get your hard drives tidied up at PC World. Remember what happened to Gary Glitter!
The Clown reference is due to the red & white hooped socks we wore in 2006...they likened us to Ronald McDonald hence the football league "gag" the following season. They call us pikeys as our staff operated out of caravans/portakabins during the dark years we shared shitehurst.
Actually had a peek on Homesdale, those saying they don't like how confident some of our fans are need to look are how confident the Nigels are? So the confidnce will even its self out and we will draw no doubt. On a another thread they have a Zaha or Chamberlin titled thread. The thread starter actually asks who would everyone prefere in there team? Absolute deluded or what? On that note, how do you start a thread on here?.........Chris Solly or Kyle Walker????

Great idea!
If I wanted to provoke a reaction I'd go and do it on their Forum!
I couldn't give a whatsit what they think!
