Going on the pitch at the end of the season is a right of passage for all fans. It's as much my club as the players, staff or board. To spend half an hour on the sacared turf of the club that i've supported through thick and thin. looking up at the majestic stands that our money has helped build ,sing a few songs of joyfull celebration with fellow like minded souls is the stuff of memories and shouldn't be denied if its done when circumstances can allow .

Why are we still debating this, it WILL NOT happen the chance was against Wycombe but one person went on the pitch (fair play to him.) all these people saying about going on the pitch on Saturday why didn't you do it against Wycombe when we actually won the league?
Muttley, are you not reading straight or just struggling to understand ?
This is not about Hartlepool - a full house (I'm taking 12 of my family along as it goes), balloons, parades, flags, hip hip and flippin' hooray let's all go for a cup of tea, parachutes, fit singers, fat singers and God save Powell.
This all refers to the Wycombe game when we won the league and my question (and it was initially a question) surrounds our lack of spontonaity and (as someone else subsequently described it) passion.
I'll close the thread when I get home (if I can) as it is clearly lost on some.
As someone very important said to me about a certain pub - "this place is full of Puritans, Piss Heads, Ponces and Prats - and many who are all 4"
