Where's Elfsborg when you need him, to turn this into a fully fledged away support discussion. By the way, FoD, I've noticed lately that you are dangerously close to going over to the dark side.
And here I am!!!!
Actually think that about 1800 is not too shabby.
Had to laugh at the Preston geezer reckoning they had 1k, was out by a mile.
Sorry to not come out with anything anti on the away following this time.
Enjoy the day out uboat, by the way, the bluebell inn at the end of the high street is a samuel smith's boozer. £2 a pint, see you in there perhaps
Probably close to 1000, maybe even over 1000, which is our average away attendance this season (only 149 less than yourselves)
Considering the absolutely shite 3yrs, and our worst League campaign for 15yrs - I'd say that's pretty damn good, wouldn't you?
We've won the league, so apart from 100 points total target to aim at this Saturday it aint much of an attraction. To be honest, a piss up in Blackpool isn't the worlds greatest attractions either, there is more to life than drinking. Besides we live in London World capital
So, going to show your support, for the last away game of a Championship winning season, isn't much of an attraction?
Maybe you lot do things differently down there, but it seems like one hell of an attractive fixture to me.

Of course it does. you've known nothing but misery, bleakness and hardship your whole life.

Ahhh, because I'm Northern, right?
A fine example of Southern wit.
Essentially, yes. Your idea of a good day out might not be the same as ours. As a dedicated away follower of Preston, you might have noticed over the years that some places are nicer and more interesting than Preston. Lots of places. Most...

Not for me, I'll watch the 20 seconds of highlights on Saturday evening. I dont think the game will be up to much, one looking forward to next year the other team wishing the season to end early. If we needed the points, maybe I would make the trip. I've been up north, its grim.
for the record Brighton took 2,432 to their last meaningless away game in League One which was Notts County and Norwich sold out their last meaningless away game with 1,800 at Bristol Rovers
Our party is next sat with a sell out of 27k, whens the last time preston had that kind of suppirt in league 1? Ill be at preston sat but can see why most are not going to preston.
What a gem, "distance doesn't matter!" Hard to take someone seriously when they come out with pearls like that. 500 to our place after predicting 1,000 isn't bright either.
2k isn't brilliant, but not hardly embarrassing their posts are an embarrassment to PNE fans, who are more concerned with the current state their club is in. Our away support isn't great, we already know, cheers.

I'll be having a good few in there Saturday.
Will be in there for about 12

Airman - can I get a refund on my ticket?

Do not think he will be applauding the team on Saturday!
Probably counting how many go in, look out for the White Preston shirt outside the turnstiles!
Couldn't care less if we had 10k there or hundred.
"Agree with some of what he has to say(obviously given my history!) but he has a terrible bee in his bonnet about us.

I really don't have a bee in my bonnet. I've no axe to grind with Charlton, at all.
I just find it quite surprising, that a relatively big club like Charlton, have quite poor away support.
It's a shame that it turned into a row, but it was probably to be expected.
We're champions and you'll be playing in the third division
