Less than 2,000 - All things considered, is very surprising, and quite frankly, very very poor.
Your team have performed consistently, throughout the whole season. They deserve better.
If we needed points there would be more.
As we're already champs we can save ourselves a trip oop north and celebrate watching the best team in the league pick up the trophy at our own ground along with 26000+ of our fellow supporters.
PPfP they're a touchy lot here .......apart from the 'very surprising' bit i agree with what you say
Less than 2,000 - All things considered, is very surprising, and quite frankly, very very poor.
Really? why do you say that?
Last away game of the season, absolutely pissed the League, 15miles down the road from Blackpool (Chance of a weekend piss-up away etc)
I always saw Charlton as a well supported club, often getting HOME gates of 17,000+
I just think taking less than 2,000 away, for the last game of the season, is a bit shite tbh.
If the roles were reversed, i'd expect us to take 3-4000 to your gaff. The last time we were in your position, last away game of a Championship winning season, back in 2000 - we took 7,000 with us. Granted, it was only down the road at Wigan, but distance shouldn't be a factor, in a case like this.
Where's Elfsborg when you need him, to turn this into a fully fledged away support discussion. By the way, FoD, I've noticed lately that you are dangerously close to going over to the dark side.
You have had a shit 3 seasons we have just come out of a 6yr recession , if we had needed a result at your place we would've took double the amount there on Saturday , we don't we have nothing to play for , its your cup final a chance to watch these best team in the league
Go along enjoy the match boo westley and go home happy
Considering the season we have endured, and the feeling surrounding the club at the time, no it's not.
You came to us on November the 4th , only three an a half months into the season when you had more than enough to play for so that's a pathetic excuse.

Long distance Meaningless game Your lot are complete and utter dross
Just a few reasons why we're not all flocking in our hundreds of millions to watch us turn you over
"Long distance" - So what? you've just walked the League, you should travel to the ends of the earth to support your club. There are teams in League 2, who are in similar positions (recent success wise) who WILL take more away than 1500, before the season ends.
"meaningless game" - No it isn't, what the hell are you talking about? It's the last away game, of a very successful season. They always have a bit of extra spice to them.
"your lot are complete and utter dross" - Yes we are, but you're going to support and watch Charlton, not us, you fvcking mong.
Probably close to 1000, maybe even over 1000, which is our average away attendance this season (only 149 less than yourselves)
Considering the absolutely shite 3yrs, and our worst League campaign for 15yrs - I'd say that's pretty damn good, wouldn't you?
We've won the league, so apart from 100 points total target to aim at this Saturday it aint much of an attraction. To be honest, a piss up in Blackpool isn't the worlds greatest attractions either, there is more to life than drinking. Besides we live in London World capital
He came to troll and got some nibbles. He didn't even do his homework on how few supporters PNE brought to the Valley. He had to rely on Ooaah to put him right. He's bored (not surprising in that part of the planet) and as they have a shite forum, thought he would come on here.

I'd say thats terrible now #### off and get ready for another derby with Carlisle if they don't go up!
Do I really need to wheel out your away figures, for your illustrious trips to Carlisle, Hartlepool, Sheff Wed, Scunthorpe, Tranmere etc etc etc...........Because, considering the season you've had, it doesn't make for very pleasant reading.
And Carlisle is 90miles away from preston, it isn't a derby. They may see it as such, because we're the closest club to 'em, but to call a fixture a 'derby' - it has to be a 2way thing, which it certainly isn't.

Is this guy for real, or what?
Please explain, in detail, how exactly, logic dictates that I should be doing my homework?

All others, similarly quit the abuse. Don't like the thread, don't participate in it.
I'm sure you can complain about next season's L1 champ's support too.
