3 points away from home with only 9 men is a very fine achievement ( even allowing for Oldham's sending off and their limitations as a side ). The last time I remember us going down to 9 men away from home, we lost 7-1 at Burnley.
I think the only team in league history not to go up on 90 points was Sunderland in 1998. Wednesday and United are bound to slip up in their remaining 5 games but 7 points from our last 5 games will make promotion a mathematical certainty ( bar Wednesday running up some cricket scores, which ain't going to happen against the likes of Brentford, Colchester and Carlisle ).
Another big step beckons on Monday. If we can win that one, promotion may well be clinched at the Valley at the Wycombe game in a fortnight.
7 points to do it, with 3 home games against fairly lowly opposition. Walsall will be tough, but we should beat Wycombe (no Doc) and Hartlepool will have nothing to play for by that stage probably.
Carlisle away will be tough, but Preston are struggling. Got my ticket in the post today, maybe we'll clinch promotion there :-)
for fcuk sake we won enjoy but stop diggin people out for there fears. We have had shit upon shit put upon us over the last 5 years. The nagging feeling is always going to surface. I have stop posting recently because if you do state your fears people jump down yout throat.
The positive people have been telling us for the last 5 years things were goin to be alright, when they weren't, so you may well be correct this time I truely hope so , but the continued diggin out is pissing me off bigtime.

Yeah, that's a fair point. Guilty of it myself at times.
What a nervy match. 11..10...9 battling heroes throughout the match! Great support, and an even better result. We were lucky they had nothing upfront to really threaten, and kept them to spraying the ball across their back 4 for most of the second period. Ref was poor. Waggy rightfully upset. He was going to be first to the ball, slipped, still won the ball and then got the man. Completely accidental and not a foul. Happy days!
Just back from the game. What an awesome performance second half. With 11 men we looked nervous, with 10 men we stepped up and with nine we were warriors. Great togetherness in this team was clear to see. It wasn't as dirty a game as the stats suggests, the referee just had a nightmare. Hollands tackle looked rash and was perhaps the only one of the three to warrant a red. The Oldham sending off looked harsh. I can't remember his first yellow but the challenge that won the second looked a 50-50 leap with Kermorgant just coming off worse. Wagstaff sending off was an absolute joke. It looked like he slipped over and fell into the Oldham player although his first yellow was certainly warranted after some stupid overplaying just outside our penalty area. Some outstanding performances today. Hamer looked solid although he does make me nervous with his kicking of back passes. Wiggins was awesome today and a great assist for the goal. Solly was solid as usual and Cort a tower of strength at the back. In midfield I thought Lee Cook looked very tidy in possession, especially when he played in centre midfield, while Stephens had a very strong second half. Kermorgant up front worked hard and was dominant in the air yet again. Almost scored from inside his own half with 5 mins to go. Of the others, Morrison made some good tackles but his distrubution got us into trouble a couple of times, N'Guessan ineffectual, Wagstaff worked hard and Hollands must be dissapointed with himself after that sending off. Great day, Great atmosphere. COYR.

Trophy parachuted in at the Hartlepool game by the Red Barrows.

;o)
Also I assume green is in!
A report from the Manchester evening news
It wasn’t a dirty game, more a competitive 90 minutes where the official lost his common sense.
Both sides were down to 10 men by half-time – and both managers were less than impressed with their respective red cards.
First to go was Addicks’ skipper Danny Hollands, given a straight red for a tackle on Kieran Lee that appeared clumsily-timed rather than malicious.
