"Has there ever been a worse 20 minute cameo performance from a substitute than Clarke put on today? Gave away a ludicrous free kick on the edge of our penalty area by blatantly pushing a Brentford player before he had even touched the ball and looked so slow when he had the chance to break away I swear he was overtaken by a tortoise. Tell me he's not really that bad?"
Got usual abuse for daring to say that - give him a chance etc - but done nothing since to convince me that the answer to my question was anything but yes. Sorry but he won't be missed.
Clearly, we don't know the background to the Benson/Clarke swop but on the face of it - and unless there was some hidden reason for making it - it's got to be said that this was a pretty disastrous move. I suspect Mr Benson maybe chuckling a little this afternoon.
i said i never wanted to see him in a charlton shirt again....very harsh but i guess ive got my wish. would like to have a replacement on the bench, if haynes was fit then it would of been fine. either him or hayes. instead we have no cover up front. then again i think sullivan up there might be more use than clarke was. we all saw hart for man city.
im glad he has gone personally i thought it was a total waste of time signing him ,the man isnt good enough paul hayes was a better player so was paul benson now we need to bring somebody in this week.
Will be a good move for all if we bring Hayes back or sign a striker on loan. Problem is that Clarke is not in the class as Kerm or Wright Phillips and Clarke has not shown much as a sub to suggest he is the type of impact player we possibly need.
Kenwyn Jones is no longer wanted by Stoke and will be released at the end of his contract which ends this year. Would be a dream signing for next year and I would 'push the boat out' for him next year, but could be an inspired loan move if we could get away with it!

Agree but dream on.
Never be afraid to 'dream the dream'. I know you are right, but as Del Boy would have said 'he who dares - wins'. If the board can afford the wages....? The buisness sense adds up as well!
Another glass of wine, and then to bed, perchance to dream...
Think what you like I did warn you when you signed him.
And we warned you about Big Mig. The sad thing for you is that he hasn't had one of his regular, match-turning cock-ups yet - which means he must be due for a MONUMENTAL one very soon. It will be a real corker, and no mistake.

What do you want a medal? He never did enough in his cameo roles or on the training pitch it must be assumed so it's no big deal; he moves on, we move on and so should you.

Be sure to come back here when it happens.
I think he was responsible for the late defeat at Walsall when he had an air shot with his head for their winner. Remember that one nethertonowl?
Question why , is there a link between, information you choose to ignore and a player who used to play for you, and his performance in 1 game two months ago?
Sorry to disappoint , but Milan stated two weeks ago January will see a further support for Megson ,with an outlay of £4-6 million(including extra wage costs).

OK I made it up.
I'm a cock too.
I just hate to see lonely cocks.
