but u know me bu sight don't you Henry lol? I like the other place.. but this is easier for me to get home as well..... living in Eltham....
Yes, I know you. May still use the Bickley and Widmore but time to try other venues.
Genuine questions. How would you get home from the Con Club to Eltham?
From the High Street it is a 126 then another bus near to wear i live.. 126 takes you to Eltham High Street and then i can get a 124 or160. , as does a 314. or a 261 into Catford and then a 160 to Eltham. I have more of a selection.
If I go past Bickley and Widmore WMC right to the end of Holmsdale Road, right at the lights towards Bromley where is it from there please ?
Turn right as you say at The Dripping Tap and continue on the A21 into Bromley Town Centre. Drive passed Waitrose and Bromley Sth Station and then right down the narrow road alongside the station where the black taxi queue is.
Follow this road around as it veers to the left and you are in Elmfield Road. The Con Club is on your right.

But what if there are no taxis queueing when he arrives.......you can't rely on those directions oh Grand Master......he may be looking for taxis and there will simply be none to be seen, which could confuse him greatly!

Oh, novice you have much to learn. Even if there are no taxis there is still the taxi rank sign.

Alternatively and a lot quicker :-
If you've gone past Tylney Road (where old club is) and have entered Holmesdale Road. Take the 1st right which is just after you have gone through the railway tunnel. This 1st right is Godwin Road. Continue to the bottom and turn right into Wendover Road. You go over the railway bridge and take 1st left (this is only about 70 metres). You are then In Palace View and The Con Club is at the end of Palace View. You can either park in Palace View or as the road bears to the right (Rafford Way) park there. Parking is free after 18.30 in the parking bays. If you've parked up in Palace View or Rafford Way, you need to walk under the "flyover" which is at the junction of Palace View & Rafford Way. The Con Club is 20 seconds from where the 2 roads meet. It sounds complicated but it is dead easy
This is a much quicker route as you are cutting down the back roads & takes 5 mins from where the old club is. Henry's route, you're going round the main roads to enter via the front and will take twice as long.
PS I live right there so I do know what I'm talking about.

You haven't mentioned that to get to The Con Club from there that it's right the other side of Kentish Way....(which is of course the A21 Bromley By Pass to non locals). How do you get across to the other side of Kentish Way from where you're talikng about......it's dead end isn't it...you certainly can't drive across...so where is the pedestrian access? The Con Club is the other side of Kentish Way in Elmfield Road near the town centre ........I'm puzzled CE?
