  • it will be from Nike's Teamwear catalogue, which usually resembles many of the custom kits that people like Man Youu, Arsenal, Barca and Inter have been wearing this season, which imo is worse than a smaller rand making something a bit more unique. We could end up looking like Barnsley, Bristol City, Leyton Orient or Forest at this rate
  • I think commercially someone like Nike is a better option, the overall standard of stuff in the club shop would no doubt be much better
  • Saw Barnsley's kit today and got me thinking about this topic. Hope we don't get Nike.
  • If the Nike rumours are true, we may have a kit out of here...

  • The Pato 649 or rooney 648 id guess out of them
  • Home: Hazard 641 with Woven 100 shorts and Vapor 610 socks

Away: Ozil 704 with Dri-Fit 411 shorts and Compression 703 socks

    GK: Park IV 547

So Red home, Yellow away, Purple GK :-)
  • I'd love Umbro myself. Their kits are simple, well made and well designed. Nice, basically.
  • Ok basically what i've heard is my neighbour is Peter Varneys nephew and he has told me that we have signed with Nike..just putting it out there....
  • Home: Rooney 648 , Woven 101 shorts and Compression 648 socks

    Away: Pato 103 , Dri-fit 641 shorts and Vapor 610 socks.

Gk: De Gea Gold at home Green away.
  • Peter Varney's nephew is going to love you when PV reads that, True Addick.

  • Without breaking any confidences does anyone know when we are likely to be officially told? If Macron is being removed from the club shop I think we can assume that it's no secret that we are not staying with them.
  • The end of the deal with our current shirt sponsors probably means the clearance of all existing stocks anyway.
  • would be nice just for once if we could have the kit released and wear it at the last game of the season, although I guess the current supplier / sponsor might have something to say about that given that they will miss out on the exposure.

would at least be nice to see the kit though, never know we still might...
  • I think if Macron have supplied us all season they would want to see the champions in their shirts.

Pre order at the last game would be nice, I wanna wear mine at the Olympics
  • I've also heard its NIKE
  • Any rumours regarding shirt sponsors ? I guess much might depend on what division we are in but if KRBS are not renewing or are being replaced I would have thought negotiations would be well underway by now ?
  • The last home programme stated that we are in talks with 2 partys who would want to be on our shirts - a few rumours that it's O2
  • O2 and Nike?

Well lets save some money and buy a job lot of these:

thatd do me, discount and preference on future ticket sales would be nice

edit im an idiot... I read it as o2 arena

  • It could well be the O2 arena - were the Owners not linked/rumoured to be part of a takeover a few years ago ?
  • Fascinating that it could be O2 Arena or O2 itself. I would think that we might be moving in higher circles to attract a profile sponsor. No disrespect to KRBS but smaller the club then generally smaller the sponsor. I will of course wait until its on the OS.

AEG also wanted to buy Spurs didn't they? Maybe they can buy our ground, do it up a bit, call it the O2 Valley and use it for open air concerts, one off events/charity football matches and even possibly let us use it from time to time!

Personally as long as the money comes in and it's not got a stupid name, like Pen Island, then the sponsor doesn't bother me, what bothers me is us potentially getting a kit that most Sunday league teams can get straight out of prodirect soccer, I would rather stick with a smaller brand and have something a bit more original
  • As long as the kit is simple a predominantly red then Nike would be ok by me.
  • As long as it's nothing like manures new kit.
  • Chris Powell at Bromley Addicks meeting last month when asked if he was happy with the new kit.

*huge smile* "Is there a Charlton red? Some people were asking if there was a particular red it should be"

And that's it folks. It's the wrong red. Get your moans in here first : - )
  • it will be a sponsor from a dubai based company with loads of money ?
  • Smart money's on Bukta.

Yes there is a Charlton red but I only know it when I see it. Forest shirts are too red if that helps.

Agree. This years shirt is a bit too red. It needs to be lighter, like the 90's shirts.
