  • Agree with randy and valley
  • Fair enough. I didn't mean 'big deal' as in lots of money, I just meant a big issue. Whichever way it works though, you don't see Nike associating themselves with many teams below the Championship so I would still be surprised if it happened.
But it seems we are not below the Championship nowadays

    Agree with randy and valley
definitely, nice and plain and simple

  • If as suggested next seasons shirts will be made by Nike, will the price of replica shirts increase dramatically? No idea what they charge in the UK now , but Nike PSV and Holland shirts are costing euro 75 - 80.
  • one of the youth team i follow on twitter said he's buzzing to wear a nike charlton shirt, so looks like its defo nike!
  • I did tell you all over 2 months ago Jeeeez lol

Be careful with those links as Norwich sent the police round to the house of a 17 year old who leaked a picture of their new shirt on twitter

WSS and Plaaayer were at the Training ground today filming our version of this video.

  • never live it down if its nike as slagged off my gooner mate in his sung fit arse shirt all season!
  • What a strange video. Can't anyone in Norwich control a football?
  • I've heard the youth player in question has had a telling off about the tweet.
  • The CEO at Norwich reasoning for the changing the kit is great, basically big clubs changed their kits every year, so we should too
  • It would be great for the club and the fans if the new kit could be in the club shop for the Hartlepool game. Think of the sales potential. The team could still wear the Macron kit if need be
  • The shelves are pretty much empty in the club shop at the moment. Whether that is in preparation of new stock or just down to low prices and lack of stuff remains a mystery...

Think of the size of the queue! ;-)

If they have the new kit in the shop for Hartlepool I'd buy one for me and one for my son, and I would guess that my Dad would buy one the same day. We'd probably also pay extra for the League One winners badges (assuming we win it).

Been saying this myself, pre-order would be good if not an actua purchase
  • Any idea if it's being released before the end of the season or would that break our agreement with Macron?

Sadly , there is absolutely no chance of that happening.
  • I assume the shirts will only come out once the new sponsor is revealed and we have fulfilled our contract with KRBS.
  • Im still holding on to some hope that it is not Nike, as was planning to get a new shirt plus my nephew his first Charlton shirt next season but just not gonna happen with Nike, not comfortable funding them.
  • Am I the only one who finds the idea of a 'plain and simple' kit a bit dull?

For the money you pay, I'd like a kit to have something a bit more memorable about it. My favourite CAFC kits to date have been the ones from the late 90s, simply because looking at them instantly brings back unique memories of that time.
  • Looking forward to having a big name manufacturer as can't remember the last time we had one. Plus I actually like the Nike shirts.

1986/87 we had Adidas. I'm not sure if we had them the next year but certainly by 1989 we had Admiral who, despite being big in the 70s were nothing special by 1989.
  • I'd buy a new kit if on sale.
  • Self birthday present, only way I can afford it.
  • I'm sure Nathan will buy it for you

    I'm not that generous
