Can't see us winning , not in a month of wednesdays , the early season form has been gone for a while and results that have gone our way in recent times have felt more of a grind than a cruise Time for all the doughnuts who slagged off megson after a few games to eat humble pie 2-0 to "the wednesday" And a long sad trip back for the 2000 faithful
I see this differently. I think we have raised our game just enough to get the results that we have. I wasn't at Walsall, but I think we thought we'd beaten Oldham when we got our goal. Orient was 85 mins with 10 men. I think we have much more in the locker, and it tends to come out for the big games. We looked very comfortable against Huddersfield who hadn't lost a game for five seasons, and the true sign of champions is that they manage to claw out results when necessary.
I could be wrong, of course, but I think we will see a big performance from our boys on Saturday that will make some of those games you are talking about seem like another team.
We will perform theres no doubt about that in my mind. The poor performances have come against lower placed teams but Sir Chris will have the boys prepared. I Am still nervous as if we lose our lead becomes very in impressive for the first time. More than happy with a draw so I'm going for 1-1
ONE of the biggest League One crowds of the season is set to be attracted to the first v third clash at Hillsborough on Saturday. Early indications lead the Owls to estimate that around 25,000 will be drawn to their match against leaders Charlton. Tickets have been selling at the rate of 1,000 a day, and sales for home areas are exceeding those that were taken in the run-up to the recent visit of another one of the Owls’ promotion rivals, Huddersfield. Wednesday are asking fans to buy early if they want to be sure of getting the best possible seats. Charlton’s following is expected to be around 1,500, but their fans can also pay on the day so the size of their contigent will depend partly on how many of them do that.
Will be more than happy with a point here as Wednesday's home form is good and we've not been at our best recently. Hopefully the atmosphere will raise the lads and we can get a hard-fought and well-deserved 1-1 or 2-2.

Sad to say but I agree with ooohhh aaaahhhh - 2 - 0 to the Yorkies.
2-0 to the Addicks Jackson with a brace in the 83rd and 90th minute sending the 8000 travelling addicks in the Leppings Lane end delirious. Hundreds of pictures and the same video of the travelling faithful singing Valley floyd road will be posted on Charlton life over and over again for the next 3 weeks
Lets hope the recent away form is turned around (granted the circumstances have been a bit different to usual). I'm heading up with a Wednesdayite Massiveite. Please please please not a defeat, I couldn't take it! I think I may have to drink through the nerves and drink to celebrate/drown my sorrows. I would gladly take a draw, no doubt about it this will be tough, expecting the same tactics as last time in Sheffield. Come on you reds.
Just get a feeling we are due a disappointment, so can see a 2-1 defeat, but fully expect a bounce back to beat United. Two results that would be massive for Wednesday, and acceptable to us. Oh and 14,000 Charlton many in the home sections disguised as Wendys.
Forget the numbers just make sure we all make the right amount of noise. This is without doubt the biggest game of the season so far and time for us all to stand up and give confidence to every player out there that we are behind them win lose or draw . Powell has never played for a draw ...ever. It is not in his mindset (hence 0-4 last week) and to be honest I dont think we would be very good at it and as attack is the best form of defence it is going to be a roller coaster come saturday especially with the atmosphere.....all the more reason why I will be up there and am encouraging every charlton fan who can to get up there and make some noise.
This week i have been having what feels like a premonition, whenever i have thought about this game a score keeps coming into my mind, the same score every time. I am now so certain that i will be backing it. 3-4 there i have said it now we will win 4-3.
I can't call it. 1 minute I'm feeling positive and feel were gonna have a repeat of sheff utd. The next im thinking millwall away where we had the same ref as this weekend.
Would take a draw but I can see something happening like a dodgy red card or a dodgy late pen to one of us
biggest week of the season so far, our rivals all have winnable games so a defeat could see our lead shrink badly. Hamer back but otherwise same team as fulham. feeling nervous, if we go looking for a draw i think we'll lose. 2-1 wednesday

Going to be cold on Saturday so don't forget an extra jumper and a flask of hot chocolate. I think it will be a 2-2 draw but we will score in the 92nd minute so we will come home singing as it will feel like a win. Remember gloves and scarf too ...

I predict (and would take) a 1-1 draw.

Green continues his scoring form and Pritchard gets the other.
