I disagree , as the previous gay guy said he joins in with the chants , and the Brighton fans also join in with the chants .... it seems to be the "straight PC brigade" that are "making waves " just saying !
We're did I say that they don't join in with the chants? What I said was joining in normalises the language, which isn't helpful when it is used by others in an offensive way.

Back in the good old days of terrace racism it was always painted as bants, and often examples were given of black people who "didn't mind". People that realised that behaviour was unacceptable were labelled the PC Brigade, and they were said to be "making waves". Just saying.
“I thought about it the other day, they believe that five percent of the population is gay, so if you halve that for gender, that means there is 2.5 per cent gay men."

bless. you might lay the blame at the journalist/reporter/editor as well as they didn't need to put that line in. my question is how many of 110 percent are gay, since all footballers work to that as their base number. i always wonder where that 10 percent comes from, or even what it means.
The gay footballer took a kick and went down injured .. out ran the gay trainer .. 'are you hurt badly' asked the trainer .. 'course I am' came the reply .. 'I've been playing half an hour and you only blew me one kiss in all that time'

Regardless of the subject matter, this has to be the least funny 'joke' in the history of mankind.
this story is news to me .. I have met a few Trinity players and this has never been mentioned .. there again, why should it have been ? .. Liam Davis is a brave young man .. I know his 'café' in Cleethorpes, a very tidy place although I have never eaten there. Good luck to him
I read the article about Liam Davis and admire his bravery - hope all goes well for him. Sad that someone's sexuality is still such an issue in football.
