My missus just found out today she's out of a job as of now. As Saturday is all paid for it could be my last treat for a while. So hope we win even more now, a defeat would put the icing on the fxxking cake (sorry for the expletive but in the circumstances.......)
Come on lets all make the effort, enjoy seeing us play when we're the best in our league. It'll be boring again in 5 years time when 3,000 are going to Old Trafford to see us lose 4-0.

Well I am going on my own too and let this encourage everyone to get up there for what is the biggest game to date of the season and if we can re-capture the support from last Saturday win lose or draw then any poor perfromance wont be due to nerves cos we are going to make it feel like the valley (or at least try to) Come on everyone on here get up there saturday and if we win then what a trip home that would be! Even if we lose let this be one of those moments where Charltons away support and noise levels took on another dimension.
If it's a choice of going on your own or not going at all then please choose the former for this one. In the 90s when I was attending home and away, the majority of the time I travelled on my own from York it never affected my enjoyment of the day. Sure it was nice to meet up with mates for the home games but I attended lots of away games on my own. It wasn't about the social aspect, it was about supporting the team. If you do go on your own, talk to the person next to you, or a face you recognise. You never know, they could end up being a good mate.

COME ON YOU ADDICKS!!!!!
Well said. I've been on my own plenty of times, and as long as it's a win, the enjoyment is comparable to what it's like when you go with people. Of course, it's nice to go with people and have someone to chat to about the match's events, but as AddickUpNorth suggests, you can do this with the person next to you, or if they're an unfriendly so and so, what's wrong with just taking in the football?
I'm going on my own. I've never been to an away game on a coach before but I've booked one for this game - I couldn't justify the cost of driving all that way on my own, and the trains were £75.
Although will be meeting an exiled Addick who's coming over from Preston for this one.
Went on the coach to Yeovil and talked for nearly all the way down and back with another guy on the coach. Funnily enough we all have something in common...

Anyone know if you can you still buy Valley Away coach tickets?
No, had a nice chat and made the journey very enjoyable.
Anyway, got the buzz back of going to away games recently so just got my Exeter and Chesterfield ones as well.
