  • I'm going up alone, and even national expressing it as brasic as, will be good to be back in my old uni town though, and there are still a few faces around, can't wait.

i would imagine time we check in our hotel, we will prob go drink towards the ground. Last year we drank in the new barrack tavern which is on Penistone road (the A road leading to the ground)

ur mob number still end 546?

  • Well said Bexley Dan. A match to savour. One worth making an extra effort for.

There is no need to be nervous. It is a good test of our credentials as leaders but we will still be top whatever. If our crowd up there is nervous that will feed through to the players on the pitch. Rousing positive vocals such as we have seen all season are what's needed on Saturday!

Win our next two games and the "worst" case scenario is:

    CAFC''''''''''P26 - PTS60
    SUFC'''''''''''P27 - PTS53
    HTFC''''''''''P27 - PTS53
    SWFC''''''''''P26 - PTS52
    MKDFC'''''''P26 - PTS52

With SWFC's & MKDFC's game in hand at MK so someone has to drop further points there. :-)

Or wendies mk draw, and we win so we all played 27 and ten points ahead of all 4
  • Sweet, nice one.
  • My Excuse for not going is that I am DJ'ing from 7.00pm till 3.00am somewhere in a Field in Woodmansterne Surrey, would rather be in Sheffield though.
  • I'm sending back your Exeter ticket, plastic.
  • I am at a meeting in Birmingham from 1 till 4 so unfortunately will not be able to add this to my only away game of the season so far
  • Our record away at their place aint too good is it? i read that the last 5 were 3 defeats 2 draws - is this right?
In which case, has anyone off here got an unbeaten record when watching away games? (not just this season - as weve been pretty impressive throughout, but in other seasons too, or if youre counting this season - didnt travel to stevenage or orient....) or know anyone who has - get them along for added luck
  • My excuse for not going is a fairly major operation on my shoulder on Saturday, went to the pre op meeting today, first question I asked was will I be awake by 3 o'clock, they thought I might be, second have they got sky sports.... Yes could it get better?
No it couldn't as the bad news was the consultant a Millwall supporter, should I be worried.
  • One of their mobs used to wear surgeons masks and were called Treatment - you did ahve your pre op at a hospital and not a pub?
  • Thanks Bexley Dan, was feeling nervous before your comment, unfortunately it was definitely in a hospital, pre op wasn't to bad until they explained how much pain I would be in after the op, sure I will feel a lot better when we win on Saturday, either that or the drugs will numb the pain. Wished I was going, but in about 3 months times they assured me that I will be able to celebrate a goal by raising both arms in the air, rather than the pathic one which I have to do at the moment.

Hope you all have a bloody good time up there, enjoy the game and the beer.
