nervous about this one, big big test tonight of our credentials and theres, right now would settle for a 1 1 draw keep unbeaten and close gap on mk dons, but if we are going to be up there we need to win tonight, we always have and always raise our game against 'bigger clubs' at home so who knows. I think the ex factor cant be underestimated also, morrison (ours not the king of the nigels one) will want to batter a few and i think semedo will find it really hard playing against us after all the years and emotions he has gone through with us, i did think if megson would 'rest' him for tonight or he would have a little niggle and sit this one out but we will have to wait and see. As others have said could deffo see a few cards out tonight with people getting stuck in. There away form is poor were unbeaten at home if BWP is fit and plays then maybe we can turn them over and really get people talking. COYR!!!!
I am pessimistic as our track record on sky isn't brilliant, however my heart won't allow me to predict a loss... score draw 1-1...
I am seriously pessimistic. As soon as I woke this morning, I just cant imagine getting home tonight at midnight knackered but happy after a good result. I can just tell we will lose, it is all set up.
Really looking forward to the game tonight, could be a belter infront of the camera's. I see lots of you are confident, as you should be, which is always good to hear.
This will be the 3rd time we have been on TV this season, the two previous were with mainly our 2nd team, both mathes ended up being 0-0. Hope their is more excitement from tonights game.
I did chuckle a bit at many of you thinking we are going to have a man sent off, it's not at all how Megson plays, he likes to keep the players heads clear etc etc.
One extra thing, I dont think for us this game is about Semedo, we have 11 players lining up to face you and not just Jose. I gather theirs some friction between both club and player and maybe that will work in your favour, maybe in ours. But all I can say abouit the lad is he has been terrific so far for us, he has been 100% committed and him and Prutton have really complemented each other well. Also im hoping that Ryan Lowe can give score on his debut and become an instant hero for us, maybe im dreaming a bit.
Anyway, we shall see what happens tonight. Hopefully by the time you come round to playing at our end we will both be well and truly in the hunt for automatics. Good luck for the season, except for tonight.
They were very lucky to beat Scunthorpe and I'm not convinced by Wednesday and think they will struggle to make the top six. 3-0 Charlton - Green, BWP, Jackson.
We werent. They were very lucky to score two against us.
What do you see as your main strengths, Hamish? How is Weaver's form? He'll proabably get more of a hostile reaction than Jose!
Our main strengths Weegie, are perhaps at this moment in time our defence and midfield. Especially Marshall on the wing, he is a=turning out to be a terrific player (on loan from Stoke). I think his wing play will cause you the most problems. In addition to that, Lowe has scored 7 in all competitions for Bury and Madine has scored 3 in all competitions for us, so we have 2 strikers who have put the ball in the back of the net 10 times already this season. However, we still have the likes of Jermain Johnson, Chris O'Grady, Daniel Jones and Jon Otsemobor out injured and we have only recently just completed our summer signings so we haven't really had chance to settle into a proper rhythm yet. I'm hoping that will happen against your lot tonight.
Weaver is Weaver, he is a wednesday legend, he has been solid so far this season as always. I have no worries about him at all. He has the experience to cope with the reception he will recieve (id like to think anyway).
I dont think we have been bad at home, we have had 2 clean sheets in both cups aswell. Away from home we have conceded 4 in 2 games. I think tonight we will change things a bit.
Owls, does the big belly fella still go to all the away games, was known as the tango man i think? remember when we beat you in the cup at the valley years ago kim grant scored both for us, he came into the north stand and shook hands with loads of us in j and h block, god knows how he got there but fair play to what ever stewards let him in.
I still remember sitting in the North stand on 16th May 1999 at full time having lost 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday and been relegated from the Premier League and having 2000 Wednesday supporters jeering us, laughing, singing, and giving rude hand gestures. I hope my above prediction is wrong and Chrissy Powell remembers that.

Ignore him, he's from OwlsOnline.
We will see tonight anyway.
Any idea's on your away numbers tonight?
" Is that all you take away " ?
Usually more if it wasnt on Sky. We had the highest average away attendance in the league last season.
