I think that if anyone from the squad or backroom staff is reading that Sheff Wed topic, they should print out some of the quotes and pin them up on the door. That'd be sure to get the players up for it.
Quite interesting reading all three pages of their discussion. Basically shows that all clubs are the same. Has certainly got me in the mood for the game though.
The way I see this one going is 3-0 win for Charlton. The reason for this is because I think if we stop Prutton in midfield, we stop Wednesday, this is because we all know Semedo doesn't have a creative bone in his body and with this, we will dominate the midfield and win the game through our quality. I think BWP will be fit and score, Stephens to score and Morrison also. We'll look strong and confident when the pressure is on us infront of the Sky camera's and carry the form into Saturday against Exeter.
Think we will win, but lets not underestimate Semedo, we have seen other players leave us and surprise us on their return as their new manager plays them in a slightly different way. Of course it does not matter what we say or think, as long as CP prepare the team and does not allow them to get complacent then we should do it.
I've been positive so far this season, but I have a bad feeling about this game.
Whilst I don't see how Semedo would fit into our team and I think we're better off without him, I can see Sheff Wed winning and rubbing how he left us for them in our faces.
Really hope I'm wrong but I see the first real blip of the season and a 2-0 defeat.
'another shifty little London club that serves no real purpose' ohhh how I would love for us to give them a thrashing. Sadly I don't think it will happen
They do strike me as thinking they are a little bit too big for their boots, like when we signed Green. Hope we manage to convert the chances we have been making in games and if we got to a situation where we a 2 nil up I'd like to see us go for a third instead of making subs and defending the lead like we have been doing.
Think it'll be tight, on Sky which means we normally lose...can see it being 2-1 to either team tbh. Plus most people on here seem really confident which normally ends badly when we play at The Valley...
we are on telly and that's not a good thing. But according to their forum they play bad on telly to so hopefully that should balance thing's out and give us a 2-0 win.
They were very lucky to beat Scunthorpe and I'm not convinced by Wednesday and think they will struggle to make the top six. 3-0 Charlton - Green, BWP, Jackson.
