It will be a tough game....but then no game is easy in this league.....fancy a 2-1 win, but if we can really turn it on in front of the cameras then 3-0.
There is another scenario in which Wednesday end up playing with 9 men and we end up with injuries to Waggy, Taylor and BWP in exchange for a scrappy 1-0 victory.
2-0, reasonably comfortable. Semedo tries too hard, gets carried away and red carded for a foul on Stephens. Morrison unbeatable at the back, and scores his first for Charlton.
Sheffield Wednesday won their home match against Scunthorpe, something we were unable to do.
Two highly motivated ex Charlton players plus the Sky cameras point to a tense, fractious night at The Valley in front of a frustrated, hostile (to their own) home crowd. I can't see beyond a Wednesday win or at best a draw. The one consolation being the winnings from betting on Semedo's goal.

On the other hand, we've won our away match against Bury which is one fixture that Wednesday have already lost. They have a dismal away record so far this season and hopefully that will continue at the Valley.
I'm taking all my Championship-team supporting mates to the pub to watch this with us so I can see it and I hope for my sakes that we dont do our typical and perform terribly when we're on Sky. But I think we'll win, anything that looks good on tele will be good for me! I hope we go back to Solly - Wagstaff down the right again, and Sullivan in goal, with BWP and Hayes back upfront with the rest unchanged.
Sheff wed did beat Scunthorpe, unlike us Len, but Scunthorpe played Newcastle in the cup less than 48 hours earlier. Should think that fatigue played a big part in that.

Not going to be too optimistic:
4-1 win

We need to win by 4 goals, I think because it goes on goals scored next
