Morrison didn't play much under Megson  though, and hasn't really been with us that long, he may be a little rusty in fairness. I wouldn't mind seeing another centre half come in, preferably someone who knows the business and is generally reliable- a Llera type, if you like (quality/lack thereof in Big Mig notwithstanding.)

Not the best but you can just about make out our right back getting skinned and Cardiff taking the lead.

That was Matt Taylor that got skinned out wide, due to the RB being further up the pitch when Pritchard's pass was originally intercepted.
Imagine the reaction had that been Doherty...

I suspect that the opening back five of Sullivan, Diaz, Taylor, Morrison, Wiggins, might be CP's favourite choice at the moment. I understand peoples concerns about Ruben Bover, but he looks to me as if he is working hard to force his way into contention. Young, yes, slight, yes, inexperienced, yes, but influential YES.

Clicked on the link just now, but YouTube say it is no longer available due to Football League licencing restrictions or something.

Puzzled. If it was a league game, fair enough ...... but for a meaningless pre-season training match workout, in a low profile venue in Spain?

No way can Taylor be a first choice.

Exeter fans are saying he was finished last year and cant believe he got a move to us.

I reckon Powell is thinking Solly, Doherty, Morrison and Wiggins. Doc was named captain for the Bristol City game, so think he may surprise some this year. He did play a massive part in Norwich's title season, and is only 31 still. A good age for a CB.

Those same Exeter fans would have him back in a heartbeat if they were offered him.  Both the Doc and Taylor are still very good players at this level but you have to pair them with the right player, Morrison may be that man or we may need to sign another CB that compliments them.
