sounds like we did well, that was a good cardiff team. not their best but still good. and if were playing on the same level a a top championship side it's only a good sign.
Think it aint a bad result loseing 1-0 to a good cardiff side, Who was in Top 6 last season, sounded like we was all over them but just couldn't get the ball in the back of the net - Hit the post and bar on another day would of gone in
we improved a lot in the final quarter if i can call it that. bwp fluffed a clean one v one and was one of our only players that treated it like a friendly which was a shame. warren grew into game. green some good touches but couldnt quite put everything together on the night. run and touch but poor final ball and vice versa. cardiff ca.e strong at our right and solly and the moved warren who found it tough going defensively to start with. cardiff did nothing in final quarter up top was all us but no real domination to force it through.
overall result not a fair reflection of game or chances. cardiff seem delighted with one nil which speaks volumes. no disgrac. COYR.
still got another 5(?) games to go before the start of the season, and as Bromley is a day after Den Bosch, many players will end up playing at least 1 full 90 before long
Interesting that people like Bover and Pritchard are impressing the most, is it because we don't expect much from them, or are they genuinely looking better than Hollands and Stephens in centre mid?
bit of both i suppose. hollands was solid enough. stephens played five mins. stephens insisted to all who would talk to him it was just a tight calf and was gutted to get taken off.

Doesn't sound like the game was played with any level of intensity. I assume the heat and humidity played a big part. Perhaps some of the players feeling the strain of training twice a day out there? Second half sounds like a total non event.

Just to brighten your day mate. Essex are currently humiliating themselves live on Sky.

More worried about the Injury to Stephens and what's happened to Alonso.
Nice for Robbie to keep a clean sheet : - )
Another good workout and a slender defeat may help to quell the hysteria building about this new team.
As Henry has - what has happened to our (Bolton) wanderer, Alonso?
I thought the word on the street was that he was going to be eased into the team in next couple of weeks.

How many Charlton out there?
