yes the winning isn't everything, but it does bread confidence, right now it's actually about the players getting to know each other and it seems that CP and his team are managing to do this pretty well (so far)

. I was hoping for a Cody Mcdonald type striker then I would have said that is promotion is there. Obviously he is out of our price and wages range and looks like he will go to either Peterborough or Orient if rumours were to be believed.
If Cody McDonald is out of our price range, I hardly think he would be going to Orient (unless they came in to some mega money overnight).0 -
Or Peterborough - Danny Green was out of their price range - unless maybe he is within our price range but Powell doesn't fancy him.0

The club confirmed (Slater I think?) a while ago Cody McDonald wasn't one of our targets.
I don't see why we couldn't get him if we wanted to. Think it was said his contract is up in a year and he's only had one good season in League 2.0 -

It's all about the Performance really. With that will come the results. In any game there are elements of luck that can turn a game one way or the other but the team that by and large controls the game will get a greater percentage of the chances so that minimises the unlucky breaks. It seems simple doesn't it - A sold goalie and back four, a controlling midfield and Strikers that take their chances. Easy on paper.
