Got mine. Bought and paid for on the same day as the wife. Hers hasnt come. You'd think the database could match addresses, might save a few quid in postage.

I think Airman has explained the postage before. It works out more expensive to implement a system that batches season tickets than it does just chucking them all out to a mailing house.
I appreciate in current austere times that some can't afford the tickets but it would be good if those that can and support the club - support the club.
Thanks for the update Airman, I think a difference of 318 is not too shabby considering a lot of people have suffered a further 12 months of financial misery since this time last year.
I think we're all a bit dissapointed about the figures really aren't we? This time last year we were spiralling further into a black hole and were assembling a bunch of cast offs whereas this year it looks like we really are turning the corner. It may have got so bad last year that many have pledged to swerve it this year - it's a shame but i think that it will take a little while for those who don't have their ear to the ground to be convinced that we aren't in for another season of misery.
Dan i definately think its a bit of both , a lot of people are hurting financially at the moment , i'm sure we all know a ton of people who have lost jobs in the last 12 months.
I think people are suffering financially just now indeed, but not as much as this time last year?!
What more can the board do to get fans back? Nothing I'd say. They have maintained cheap ticket prices and built a brand new squad that looks very good. If fans want to wait and see the results coming in then fine, but buying a ST now would really help the club out.
I think this season is going to be very important as if we don't go up, I can see that number falling. The problem is that with the odd discounts that will inevitably and rightly happen for certain games - and if for various reasons you miss a small number of games a season, you might even be better off buying your ticket on the match day. I remember the time- not so very long ago where the season ticket was your guarantee that you could watch your team but in League 1 you won't have difficulty getting a ticket for any league game. I must admit my motivation for buying my ticket now is out of loyalty to the club rather than seeing it as the necessity it used to be when we were selling out.
Positively, if we do well - you would expect more fans to attend and pay at the door so our overall attendances could hold up in the end. But if we don't do so well, crowds will inevitably be that much lower. This downward spiral has to be broken quickly.
Im coming back after a few years purely based on the way the board & powelly have acted by getting there signings in early & showing there intent to take us forward. Theres been big changes, not just in the first team but by bringing in well respected back room staff (vetere, hart, bloom etc). There clearly trying to get us back on track & at £265 quid a s/t @ £22 per month its a bit of a bargain.
Just renewed mine and WIWLB Jnr after three years of opting out of having a season. The board seem to be putting there money where their mouths are, and the club are making some very interesting signing in terms of quality and the age of the players in which would suggest they are laying some solid foundations for the future.

I don't think the club is disappointed, although individuals may have a different view. Those who planned the offer would have been delighted to know we were going to get these numbers at the outset, and in the run up to the original deadline. Realistically, last season was so poor that to substantially hold on to the season-ticket base is an achievement.
Encouraging transfer activity needs to be translated into results before we can make significant inroads into the disaffection of recent years and actually these numbers are very good for Charlton in the third division. Providng the team does reasonably it's quite likely we will end up around the 9,000 mark again.
I think the real question is to what extent we can boost them when we get back to the Championship.
If the team excites and engages people and the tickets are not substantailly more expensive, I think it will be easier for the club to sell considerably more in the Championship. An if rather than a when though, but so far things are looking resonably promising. We won't really know until the season gets underway though.
I think the last couple of seasons a lot of fans made a statement of loyalty to the club and bought tickets whereas this time round, and quite understandably so, they are taking a wait and see stance and if we make a good start then I'm sure we will see some decent walk-up crowds and people buying half-season tickets come Xmas

Crack down on abuse of underage tickets perhaps
Ordered mine and two mates' earlier, can't wait now
Morrison & Elliot were supposed to deliver mine, but apparently there was some sort of mix up.
Waggy took over, but first of all he couldn't get past the front gate & when he eventually did, it ended up going over the roof.
Finally , Danny Green took charge and it was delivered immediately :-)
Got my season ticket yesterday. Renewed it on the day before the deadline. It's numbered 40.
You sure we've sold over 7,600 season tickets?
PS still chuckling at Covered End's comments above!
7,869 - comparable total on July 20th last year 8,187, so the gap is closing.
There was a mail-out to those who hadn't renewed which landed (mostly) last Monday and this has pushed the number up.
