As far as they were concerned as of Sunday night we had not gone any further than talks with romaine, and that they did not need to sell him now the green deal had been done,
We had these option of either I think and we took Danny, never say never but I am led to believe that he is not for sale
At this level, season before last we had Shelvey, Sam and Basey who could all put a good cross in. Good number of assists between them (about 20) considering we had no natural goalscorers strikers up front. Basey and Shelvey weren't regular starters either.
Asked the Dag & Red FM researcher about Green and have already got a reply. Sounds promising, as expected very different type of player to Waggy.
Will hopefully find out what the Oldham researcher thinks about Stephens soon.
Yeah his delivery is often excellent. He will probably want to take every corner, penalty, throw-in and free-kick going too! He has a very big throw, he strikes the ball really nicely which means he is a threat from free-kicks and on occasions when he drifts inside.
He looks quite nippy due to his trickery but actually you will notice that he's pretty average in a foot race and doesn't really fly off the mark. He relies on working half a hard to get the ball into the box, and he does this well. He's developed his dribbling quite a bit recently and can go round either side of the full-back. Doesn't like to use his left peg tho!
3k p/w looks about right to me. Not heard anything about money - apparently you wrote that all fees and clauses are undisclosed into the contract.
Hope he does well, he comes across as a nice lad and he has plenty of ability. The only criticism I'd level at him is that he can be a bit silly at times - red card in penultimate game, sulks occasionally, can sometimes play lazy balls when things aren't going his way. Generally a hard worker though.

See guys, what did I tell you, as I posted above on the 26 June, Dale Stevens as well.
:-)
This is as we all know not a site for pedants but it's Stephens ;0)
So a team of Charlton look-a-likes:
Slater - Rick Astley
Green- Thom Yorke
Powell - Linton Kwesi Johnson
Hmmm, but if you look at a lot of them after I posted there were an aweful lot of doubters, I even had messages in my In Box.
My source at the Valley came good and they both signed, that is all I am happy about
How many other, know it alls/smartarses/know jack really, have a 'source' at the club?
Yum
Any word on Vincelot?

In his interview he says we were his club when he was young, does he just mean as a youth team player or is he our second fan in the playing staff?
