Probably very few as they only went on sale on Wednesday, I think we will bring about 600 or 700. Although people view Charlton as one of the better away days so could be up to 1,000
I really hope as many people as poss can get along to this , seeing the valley half empty breaks my heart, seeing it full .. well thats a different picture , if we could get over 20,000 that would be great.
How many season tickets now? How duo these sales compare to our other biggest home gates this season? Will be interesting. Would love to see a big turnout
I'd like to see some inititives to attract more ethnic minorities. I think the club has not maximised it's potential in this area. Competitions in papers like 'The Voice' is one idea and if a signal is needed, the appointment of our manager and assistant manager couldn't be a stronger one. for tickets

Muttley, what do you suggest, £5 whites and £2.50 black and asian.
People of all races read local papers so if they want to attend at £5 a pop they will.
Spot on SA, thats what i was coming on here to say.
Charlton are in local rags were ALL can read so all have the same choice.
Cant start all this nonsense.
Its out there in teh public domain via TV,Papers & Internet that we have a Black manager, IF black people feel inspired to come they will without ad in papers for Black people.
IMHO most dont give to hoots they will watch, Man u, Pool,Arse & Chels on Sky TV like they do week in week out.
Cant say any Black people i know and were i work trust me there is plenty, have even battered a eye at his colour they know CP as a great respected player end of no colour mentioned.
To me, the great thing about this initiative is that it comes at exactly the right time. Not only can you round up a bunch of nephews and nieces and other relatives and their friends and offer them an affordable day out, but under SCP you can almost guarantee they will have a fun day out,too - which means they might want to come back.
Sorry, but even at five quid a ticket I would not have dreamed of taking an eight strong family party along to the Valley to share the soul-destroying misery we were suffering under the old regime. It would have put them off for life. But with the new hope and restored spirit messrs Slater, Jiminez and Powell have given the club, I know that whatever the result, every one of my guests will have a good time on Feb 19.
So thanks to both the new owners and the new coaching team. Hopefully it will translate into at least a couple of new supporters who will be Addickted for life.

£2.50 for asians is a great idea and I'll take another 10 seats please, can we also have the program in hindi and patois versions.
Seriously the £5 is not specifically intended to attract ethnic minorities, from what i can gather the club do that through the community scheme and events on Red White and Black day and free tickets to school;s which in South london have a strong diverse racial mix, although I am not sure exactly where CAFC send tickets out to. There are more ethnic minorities in the crowd than there used to be and this will grow over time as will black managers as did black players.

Why? if people wanna watch CAFC they will. I would say maximise the potential of women to come to the Valley as there are more Women out there as a group then blacks/asians as a group.
I think the Club has missed a trick by not taking into account the number of Aliens out there. Transport costs from the Solar System are bad enough without then having to pay a fiver to get in.

Would we then call the bussing service the Valley Supersonic?
I think the club has a moral if not legal responsibility and a commercial imperative to make sure that people of all races feel comfortable at The Valley and that can mean being proactive to overcome perceptions and prejudices, but I wouldn't personally be comfortable with something aimed at attracting a particular ethnic - or alien - group. We do target people - of all colours - in Lewisham, Greenwich and Tower Hamlets, which all have a significant ethnic minority population.
We're now at the point with Exeter where we have sold nearly as many home tickets as we would have expected to sell in total at standard prices. Can't give an exact figure, but I estimate it to be about 3,250. The 200,000 flyers should start landing over the next few days. By Friday we'll have a good idea where this is heading, but I reckon we'll sell at least half of all tickets in the final week. So, for example, if we've done 5,000 at the weekend, I reckon we'll do over 10,000.
fantastic work AB I really hope that this is a big success... it's a calculated gamble and the prospect of bigger gates can only be a positive in the future - more £ in the coffers and a louder matchday atmosphere

How many season ticket holders do we have? I think we would have done excellently if we get an extra 6000 tickets and would surely take the total to around 20k....which would be amazing!
Muttley. Are you an utter WUM or just very misguided?
By your theory ethnic minorities only read "the voice" and are completely ignorant of all other forms of excellent advertisment that the club has used over the past decade to attract support.
Tell you what Ill tell my black pals to give up their Spurs and Arsenal allegiances and pop down to the Valley. Perhaps BDL will do a reggae mix of Red Red Robin to make them feel at home.
Maybe ill ask my muslim colleagues to hand out some flyers at Friday prayers and perhaps we can see if the catering at the club will put on some jerk chicken and halal burgers to really encourage this alien breed of people down to the valley.

I presume thats home ends only ?
If so how many ECFC sold
The 3,000 gone to-date do you think this extra or is it the usual pay on the day peeps?
WTF
