IMO the club have done really well in how they have sold the tickets for this game. The Swindon game was a shambles where no prority was in place. Yes there will be people complaining (some even had season tickets categorised as scum season ticket holders when they did not have one!) but what no can argue about is that the system is fair. The same system has been used for all games this season where there was chance of a sell out (don't laugh), the club has used that again. To ensure 5 year season ticket holders, valley gold season ticket holders and fans who have been to at least 4 away games got a ticket was correct and you would had to have been be mad to complain about that. With the the next level being season tickets and valley gold I'm really struggling to see why anyone who has missed out can reasonbly complain? By using this system those who have stumped up cash or been to a few away games are sorted, and then after that the season ticket holders.
And yes I did get a ticket (5 year season ticket holder and been to 5 away games so far, with Colchester and Rochdale tickets also bought).
I know all of my mates first thing at 9.30am are getting tickets in the CAFC end. Its a shame as Spurs obviously 'I assume' are struggling to sell tickets hence why they are on general sale they could not find room to get more CAFC fans in there.... DAMM Met Police!!

FA Cup games are sold in a very limited window by Spurs. Season ticket holders had a day (despite most signed up to the auto cup-renewal seat scheme), members the next two then they put them on general sale the day after to clear them as soon as possible.
The Spurs website indicates (when you're logged in and looking at each stand in detailed view) that there is now only limited availability where by 5 blocks in the whole ground (corner of the Paxton/East, the 2 upper tier corners of the East and the Paxton/West stand corner) where tickets are "available" with limited tickets available (ie) singles and restricted views elsewhere in the ground.
To be fair, I think thats pretty good going for the level of opposition we're facing. Obviously (and not meaning this derogatory in any shape or form) a Prem game or a CL game is going to sell out much quicker than a FA Cup game. Thats just the way it is.
Effing Royal Mail let us down. Put a letter with supporting away stubs in the first calss post on Monday (couldn't get to the game on Saturday) but it didn't arrive until this morning by which time all tickets had been sold.
Bit miffed because you just know there are people with tickets who don't make much effort to get to away games the rest of the year, when for us every home game is like an away game in terms of distance/time plus we will generally make double figures for away games each season.
Still, it's not really anyone at the clubs fault so I'm not going to go off on a massive rant and they were kind enough to ring us and lets us know we'd missed out, which they didn't have to do.
If anyone gets wind of a pair of tickets looking for a new home, please give me a whisper.
